Episode starts with Virat getting furious at Shruti for trying to show care towards him. He says that he have only given Sai the rights to come closer to him. She feels hurt by his words and gets teary eyes. He scolds her asking to stay away, while she replies that she is only trying to return his favour. She states that going to jail would have been much better, as it would be less torturing. She proclaims that his behaviour is insulting her, to which he glares at her and says that he was the one who is suffering the most. She sees him sick and tries to touch his forehead to check the fever, while he backs off.
Here, Virat again taunts Shruti while latter feels humiliated. She tells about how his words are hurting her, while he controls himself and apologises to her. He realises that what all he have said to her and ask to forgive him. He also insists her not to worry about him.
Shruti says that she wants to help Virat, while he shares his pain with stating how Sai didn’t trusted him. He cries telling that they both have promised to be with one another even when the world gets against him, but she forgot their promise and have hurted him the most. Shruti feels his pain and thinks about comforting him but then stops herself.
Elsewhere, Sai meets Pulkit and tells about her plan to save Virat’s job, while he gets disappointed with her. He says that he didn’t expected such behaviour from her, while she tries to explain herself to him. She says that she consider him as her elder brother and ask to trust him. She declares that she only want to release Virat from this situation as he himself can’t able to do it. She reminds Pulkit that Virat have supported her when everyone was against her, so she is returning his favour.
Pulkit tells that she is becoming same like Pakhi. He says how Virat betrayed Pakhi and moved on with Sai, likewise he now betrayed her and moved on with Shruti. He states that Pakhi and her keeps waiting for Virat, whereas he started his family with Shruti and can betray her also. Pakhi declares that she will remove Virat from her life after helping him once and will focus only and only on her career.
Ahead, Sai says that she only have her career and education with her and will concentrate on that only. Whereas, Pulkit says that she can’t able to study by keeping Virat in her mind. He also tells that she freed him without punishing, by giving divorce to him. He states that she had done wrong.
Sai visits DIG sir and tells about the newspaper article. She says that Virat isn’t at fault because he married Shruti after giving divorce to her and shows him their divorce papers of one year back. She says that they were forced to marry and Virat have always cleared that he will divorce her after sometime. She says that it is mutual and Virat haven’t betrayed her. DIG sir denies to believe her and says that he have seen love in Virat’s eyes for her, to which she replies that they both only have concern towards each other.
Further, DIG sir says to Sai that her lie will save Virat’s job but declares that he can still see love for him in her eyes. He praises her of being strong and shows his concern towards her. She gets emotional and shows her gratitude towards him. She was about to go out from there when Virat comes there and confronts her. He puts allegations on her for instigating DIG sir against him and says that she will regret when she will learn about his truth. She gives him the divorce papers stating that only it can save his job and leaves from there.
Precap:- Virat goes to meet Sai and return the divorce certificate. He says that he doesn’t need her favour. Meanwhile, he visits DIG sir who reminds him that he have given him only 72 hours to prove his innocence and ask that if he brought proof in his favour? To which he denies while DIG sir ask if he is accepting all the allegations about him? To which he replies that he never denied them and then gives his resignation letter. He says that he is ready to accept all their punishment.
