The episode starts with Reeva comes to Ishaan and comments on Ishaan as Surekha’s BP is already high and he is troubling her. Ishaan says to Reeva that he is fed up as from when he got married everyday something happens. Reeva reminds Ishaan that he did the reception to save their reputation and says this is his chance to save their reputation again and asks Ishaan to do this for Surekha. Ishaan thinks what Reeva said is right and agrees to do it. Ishaan thanks Reeva for reminding him his responsibility. Ishaan asks Reeva to always remind him his responsibility like this. Reeva agrees. Savi sees Reeva and Ishaan shaking hands.
Ishaan and Reeva see Savi has gotten ready to do the Pooja. Reeva asks Ishaan to also get ready.
Surekha’s friends ask Surekha why haven’t Savi and Ishaan has gotten ready. Surekha says to her friends that Ishaan has gotten into a big accident and Savi is taking care of him so she thinks this ritual might not happen this time and says they will do this ritual next week. Surekha’s friends ask Surekha if this is the real reason. Ashmita sees Savi and Ishaan and says to Surekha about it.
Surekha comes to Reeva and thanks Reeva for saving her from getting humiliated as she convinced Ishaan and Savi to do the Pooja.
The Pandit asks Ishaan to put bangles around Savi’s hands. Surekha asks The pandit what is the need for all of this. Surekha’s friends say to Surekha that it is considered auspicious if Ishaan does this ritual. The pandit agrees with Surekha’s friends. Surekha hearing this asks Ishaan and Savi to do it.
Ishaan puts the bangles around Savi’s hands. Surekha’s friends asks Surekha if she is not going to gift her daughter in law. Reeva asks Surekha to gift the necklace that she bought for her. Surekha doesn’t agree to it. Reeva goes and brings the necklace.
Surekha gifts it to Savi and asks Ishaan to put it around Savi’s neck. Ishaan does it.
The pandit later asks Savi to take the elder’s blessings. Savi touches Surekha’s legs but Surekha backs away and blesses her. Savi takes other elders blessings.
Savi asks Ishaan to tie the sacred thread to Ishaan. Savi agrees and ties Ishaan. The pandit asks Savi to make a promise to Ishaan that she will take up this house responsibility. Savi says it. The Pandit asks Savi to promise Ishaan that she will give birth to a child to continue this house bloodline. Savi takes the sacred thread away and says she can’t take this oath infront of God as it will be a lie. Savi says she is only going to stay in this house until Harini gets better. Savi apologises to Surekha’s friends and leaves from there. Surekha says Savi is just a kid.Surekha’s friends gossip about Surekha. Surekha feels humiliated hearing about their gossip.
