Colors TV recently launched a brand new show titled Harphoul Mohini which is set in the backdrop of two different cultural backgrounds. Harphoul is a Punjabi while Mohini is a Keralite and the show deals with how the two overcome their cultural differences to become one. Earlier its seen that Harphoul’s wedding got stopped. Now it will be seen that Saroj will bring Harphoul’s alliance for Mohini.
Previously we have seen that, Mohini met a guy for her marriage. On the other hand, Balwant’s men m set the marriage pandal on fire to stop Harphoul from getting married. Harphoul understood that he was doing wrong and stopes the wedding. He even made Balwant’s the scapegoat for his misdeed.
Mohini was shocked to see her groom who’s age was 51. Mohini and her father got angry and immediately turned down the proposal. Maai was proud of Harphoul and got happy upon knowing that Mohini’s alliance also got cancelled. She sent Saroj to take Harphoul’s proposal to Mohini.
In the future episodes we will witness, Saroj will bring Harphoul’s alliance for Mohini but both Vijayan and Shyamala will be against it as Harphoul will be illiterate. Saroj will try to convince them that Harphoul is a good Haryana boy and will not demand any dowry from Mohini.
Mohini will say that she will think about it. On the other hand, Maai will say about Mohini’s alliance to Harphoul. They will immediately refuse upon knowing that the girl is from Kerala who’s cultural background is very much different from them. They will be even more against it upon knowing that Mohini is a nurse.
Harphoul will think that Mohini will have attitude as she’s well educated. Everyone will turn down the proposal but Maai will firmly believe that Mohini is the right choice.
Will Harphoul save his land? Will Harphoul and Mohini gets married?
