The episode starts with Jarnail coming to his office and finds a bouquet there with card. He reads the card from Teji saying how while bringing children up she has forgotten to appreciate him but she wants to make things back to normal and invites him for dinner at 8 PM. Jarnail wonders what happened to Teji suddenly. Teji gets ready and sets up dinner table. Jarnail comes there and Teji says that she did not expect he will come. Jarnail says that he is not as bad as she thinks. He tells he needs his family, kids as well as her. Teji says she needs him too and they go ahead with their dinner date.
Heer sees them from behind and hopes they do not realise their notes were written by someone else. Teji and Jarnail appreciate each other’s looks and start having drinks together when they hear Rajwinder’s screams calling out Jeet. She angrily throws glass. Heer asks Rajwinder if Ranjha made any mistake and the latter starts scolding her instead. Ranjha requests Rajwinder to punish him if he did any mistake but not to say anything to Heer.
Rajwinder says about Ranjha complaining to Sartaj against her. She says Heer needs to wear white clothes and blames her for asking Sartaj to get permission for wearing colored clothes. Ranjha asks what’s wrong if she wears colored clothes. Rajwinder tells Teji and Jarnail why they are so well dressed. Teji says about Heer putting in efforts to set up dinner date for them but everything got ruined. She says nothing good can happen in their family and leaves frustratedly. Heer asks Ranjha to leave the house. He acts like leaving but runs back inside saying he is business manager and wll not leave so soon.
Heer comes to Ranjha and says she did not want to talk to him but she has to clarify something. Ranjha jokes with Heer and says he has jar of pickles which can make her happy. Heer questions him why he asked Sartaj for her to wear colored clothes. Ranjha asks her if she will be fine with him stopping to smile. He says that he has taken oath to protect her happiness throughout his life and is doing the same. Heer says that she doesn’t like to see him getting humiliated and being called servant.
Heer tells that she doesn’t like Ranjha being called orphan and he is so pure hearted. She says she feels hurt seeing him having to hear disrespectful words so she requests him to go back. Ranjha smiles and says he is happy to know she is still worrier for him. Heer’s veil fllies to Ranjha’s face, getting stuck in his locket and they share eyelock as she remove it. Once Heer leaves, Tanya comes there. Rajwinder provokes Jarnail against Heer and stops him for improving his relationship with Teji. Simran and Sunny cries for not having Lohri function and Heer overhears their conversation. The episode ends with Heer cheering the kids up and she promises to help them to celebrate Lohri.
