The episode starts with Beant Singh giving Diwali to all his family members. He gives gild bangles to both Heer and Jasmin. Heer scolds him overspending on gifts for them. Gurmeet gets a shirt as gift and feels disappointed seeing it. He talks rudely to Beant Singh and says he gifted gold to them but couldn’t spend for him. Kuldeep gets ready for Diwali party . Simran comes to show his new doll to Kuldeep and he says Simran to praise him a lot infront of Heer so that he can make her chachi. Simran gets excited about the same.
Teji comes there and compliments Kuldeep’s look. The latter questions whether she talked to Rajwinder about Heer. Teji tells him not to worry much and introduce Heer to Rajwinder at Diwali party. Gurmeet tries to get romantic with Jasmin and asks her to bring some cash. She scolds him for disappointing Beant Singh and arguing with him. Gurmeet snatches her gold bangels and says he will sell them. Beant, Navjot and Heer also come there . Gurmeet tells that even Heer will give lecture now. Beant questions Gurmeet about where he is going but he leaves without telling them anything.
Rajwinder wishes Simran and Sunny for Diwali. When Sunny stammer, Rajwinder as well as Parneet feels disappointed. Parneet says that if Sunny could speak well,they would have made him do the chanting. Teji tells her to speak nicely and her son can pray better than ones who have unclear heart. Kuldeep tells Rajwinder that they should wait a little more as his father is coming too and Suraj Singh must be bringing him home in a while. Teji gets happy to know that her father in law is coming home but Rajwinder says she doesn’t wait for anyone.
Ranjha thinks of Navjot’s words about him and feels heartbroken. He talks to his mother’s picture and says he is missing her more this Diwali. Rajwinder finishes the prayer and distributes sweets to everyone. She sees her husband but doesn’t give him the Prasad. Sunny asks her grandfather for gift and he tells her to wait for surprise. Teji greets him and asks him to rest while she makes tea for him. Heer excitedly tells Beant Singh that they need to go to fields and Jeet’s house to light up diyas.
Beant Singh tells that he is going to meet lawyer and he has already said that case will be in their favor. Guldaste and Jogi tell Ranjha not to sit in darkness. He gets call from Heer but doesn’t receive it. Navjot tries to convince Heer to come to Atwals party but she leaves denying to attend it. Rajwinder tells Parneet that she will not forgive her husband till her last breath. Heer reaches Ranjha’s house and gets shocked seeing darkness there. She asks Guldasta to turn on lights but Ranjha scolds him. She goes to Ranjha and convinces him to light up diyas with her. His house shines with light and Heer talks about his mother. She says how her are full of love and she must have had some reason to leave him at Gurdwara. The episode ends with Kuldeep’s father seeing Ranjha’s mother picture and feeling emotional.
