The episode starts with Heer trying to cook Khichdi. She is unable to differentiate between masalas and prays to God to send someone to help her. Jeet calls her and Heer says she is in a problem and only he can help her as she doesn’t know how to cook. Jeet tells her not to worry he will help her. Heer puts the call on speaker and Jeet gives her instructions on how to cook Khichdi. Rajwinder tells she has never ate such tasteless food and she would never eat and Kuldeep has already took her hunger with her.
Jeet tells her to mix daal rice and masala in the cooker and now is the time to mix the special ingredients and close the cooker. Jeet teaches her how to close the cooker and thinks time has changed Heer, earlier everyone used to cook for Heer and now she is cooking for her family. Jeet tells her to turn off the gas after 2-3 whistles.
Simrit tells Heer it is even more delicious than pasta and Heer feeds her the khichdi. Heer asks Teji to taste once and tell her how it is. Teji tells it is really very delicious. Heer tells she will feed it to mummy ji now. Teji tells she knows her from years so she might deny eating so don’t get disheartened. Heer gets some idea and tells to leave it upto her to feed Mummy ji.
Rajwinder tells Heer who gave her permission to enter the room. Heer tells she has cooked khichdi specially for her. Rajwinder tells how did she think she will even eat anything she has cooked and tells no one eats such food here go and give it to servants or dogs. Heer tells she hasn’t even removed the bowl cover so how does she know she has brought khichdi. Heer tells her to eat little as she will get ill staying hungry. Teji’s mother insults Heer but Teji defends her. Rajwinder tells Heer to leave or else she will throw it outside the window.
Heer tells what if Kuldeep brought this khichdi for her? Rajwinder tells she would even eat poison from her son’s hand and tells Heer not to use his name after his death. Heer tells this means she will eat if Kuldeep asks her to eat. Rajwinder tells yes she will eat and tells Heer to call Kuldeep and ask her to eat. Kuldeep voice says mom please eat the khichdi for me. Rajwinder gets emotional listening to his voice and a servant brings his photo with voice recording of Kuldeep.
Flashback shows it was Heer’s plan to generate Kuldeep’s voice using AI. Heer tells she knows it is a wrong way but for now it is important to feed Rajwinder. Teji tells her way might be wrong but her intentions are right. Rajwinder starts crying listening to Kuldeep’s voice. Heer tells we may not see Kuldeep but he is near us, you know that Kuldeep used to love you the most ,how will his soul get rest if he keeps worrying about you.
Rajwinder plays the audio again and Heer feeds the khichdi to Rajwinder and tells she never ignores her son and eats the entire khichdi. Teji’s mother think how did the khichdi get cooked as she removed the cooker before getting cooked. Teji tells Heer that Kuldeep would have been very happy watching her take responsibilities like this. Teji asks Heer what was the special ingredient in her khichdi? Flashback shows Jeet telling her that in langar no one taste the food but it is delicious because they cook it taking God’s name. Heer tells she cooked it taking God’s name that is why it is so delicious.
