Imlie 16th July 2021 Written Update on SerialGossip.in
Episode starts with Aditya talking to Imlie in college. He says he can’t tolerate if her studies getting hampered because of all the drama. Imlie says nothing like that. Imlie later tells him that she heard he was arguing with Aparna regarding attending the function. Imlie says she should stay away as his family didn’t accept her yet.
Aditya says if she does so then she will prove Tripathis right and will encourage them to do wrong. This can’t happen. Aditya starts introducing Imlie as his wife to everyone in college. Imlie gets embarrassed and asks him why is he doing that. Latter says if Imlie tries again to hide about their marriage he will create scene like this. Imlie stops him and Aditya teases her.
Aparna invites Malini for Moo dikhai ritual. Malini recalls her promise to Kunal and refuses to come. She says Tripathis should focus on Imlie and Aditya instead of calling Malini. But Aparna says Malini didnt divorce Aditya yet so she is still her daughter in law. Malini should not hurt her. Aparna lies to her that Aditya wants her to attend the function. Malini agrees and later she realises she shouldnt have said yes. She is stuck between Aditya and Imlie. Aparna says for her Malini is Aditya’s wife only and to show Imlie’s real place Malini should be present at the party.
Imlie goes to help Sundar in making preparations. Radha says why will you work, you are not maid. Imlie insists her but latter says if Imlie really wants to help her then she will not attend the party being Aditya’s wife.
Aparna takes sarees from the tailor and the latter gives one more saree to Aparna saying she ordered it immediately and told him to deliver it within two days. Rupy asks Aparna is this for Imlie? Aparna tells tailor she doesn’t want the saree anymore. He can throw it away. Rupy asks then what will Imlie wear in the party. Imlie overhears that.
Kunal goes to meet Malini to finalise a date for divorce but Anu says she is not here. Kunal calls Malini but its switched off. Driver informs Malini went to Tripathi house. Anu and Kunal get shocked. Anu tells Kunal to finalise the divorce date today. Kunal says court has come rules, they can’t break it. He adds Malini doesnt want divorce from Aditya. He leaves.
Aparna gives same color saree to Malini which everyone is going to wear. Latter asks whats the need. Why Aparna is treating her like one of her family members. It’s not right. Will Imlie also wear same color saree to match the theme. Aparna says she has no relation with Imlie, relatives are already discussing about Aditya and Malini’s divorce. She requests Malini to attend the party as Aditya’s wife to avoid all the criticism. Aparna says divorce didn’t happen so legally Malini is Aditya’s wife.
Imlie recalls her insult and Aditya tells her to get ready but latter says she has to complete an important college assignment. She can’t attend. Aditya catches her lie and says Imlie should not get afraid. They have to face the whole world. He says its not that easy but they have to accept it. Imlie says everyone will talk about her only and Pallavi will be upset as she will get less importance. Aditya says his family is worried about those neighbours who know how to taunt others nothing else. He adds Imlie is not a maid, he wont support his family’s thinking about Imlie.
Some neighbours start taunting Tripathis for Rupy’s unsuccessful marriage. They talk about Aditya and Malini’s divorce. Aparna shuts them up saying Malini is still her daughter in law and everything fine between her and Aditya. Rupy asks Aparna why the latter invited Malini here. How will she face the humiliation when Imlie will come with Aditya. Aparna says Imlie won’t come.
Precap- Aditya introduces Imlie as his first wife in front of all relatives and neighbours. He adds he parted ways with Malini. Everyone taunts Tripathis saying they even gave their son to a maid. Aditya gets teary. Aparna gets furious.
