The episode begins with Raj didi asking whether Ishani is going somewhere today too. Ishani replies she has to go to college to give the entrance exam today. Shashwat asks Ishani whether she can’t do this studying drama later because marriage talks are going on in the house. Ishani asks him not to worry because she won’t let her studies affect Yash’s marriage. She says she just has to go to college for 3 to 4 hours only. Raj didi says Ishani should have told them about this before marriage. Ishani says they should have told her she won’t get freedom before marriage. Shashwat asks Ishani when she became a feminist. He tells her that she can’t ignore her responsibilities and he won’t give her freedom.
Yash comes there with Ankita. Raj didi says Ankita is glowing. Shashwat tells Ankita that they were discussing the menu of the marriage. He asks Ishani to bring pen and paper. Raj didi tells Yash and Ankita that they can’t meet after the Aashirwad ceremony. Shashwat asks them whether they decided on a honeymoon venue. Ishani returns with a diary and pen. Yash asks Shashwat why they are involving Ishani in this. Ankita says they can note the menu in the phone too. Shashwat says he is not sure if Ishani can do that or not. Raj didi says, Let’s write in the diary.
Shashwat tells the menu to Ishani. He asks Ankita whether she wants to give any suggestions. Ankita says she is fine with Shashwat’s choice. Raj didi says she can’t wait for Ankita to come to the house. Shashwat tells Yash to start coming to the office. Yash tells his father that he is not interested in business. Ankita supports Shashwat. She tells Yash that Shashwat needs rest at this age. Raj didi says Ankita will manage Shashwat’s business in the future.
In the college, Pihu tells Anurag that she wants Ishani to become independent and achieve her dream. Anurag asks her what her dream is. Pihu tells him that she will tell him later. Anurag gives chocolates to her. Pihu tells him that she is not a kid. Anurag tells her that he knows that, and he eats chocolates. He gives the gift to her and asks her to give that to Ishani. He goes inside. Pihu thinks she gets happy and positive vibes from Anurag.
Shashwat says he wants to be free after finding a good groom for Pihu. Ishani asks them whether they need her. Ankita says Ishani should be part of this discussion. Ishani says she has other work to do. Yash taunts Ishani. Raj didi says Ishani makes excuses to go out nowadays. Yash asks Ishani whether she is learning from Alphabets. Ankita laughs. Yash asks Ishani whether her classmates will call her aunty or grandma. Everyone laughs.
Ishani asks Shashwat whether he is ashamed to laugh at her insult. She tells him that he should protect her dignity. She asks why she is facing this. She says she is the daughter-in-law of this house, but she is getting insulted by Yash and Ankita. She adds she doesn’t think she needs to be there. And she is getting late, so she will leave. Shashwat tells her that she can’t go anywhere. Ishani tells him she will return soon and leaves from there.
After some time, Raj didi asks Shashwat whether he is fine. Shashwat asks her what happened. Raj didi tells him that Ishani is talking so much nowadays. She says Ishani insulted Shashwat in front of Ankita, which is not good. She adds Shashwat worked hard to earn this name and status. Shashwat asks her not to worry. Raj Didi leaves from there. Shashwat tells himself that Ishani doesn’t know him yet.
