The episode begins with Nandini learns that she got the contract and gets happy. Raj didi says Nandini looks happy. Nandini says it’s business-related good news. She asks where Shashwat is. Raj didi replies, Shashwat must be in the study room. Nandini leaves from there. Ishani takes Raj didi’s blessings. Raj didi asks what’s special today. Ishani replies it’s her birthday. She says she will go out after finishing all the work.
Raj didi says if Shashwat’s tolerance ends, then Ishani can’t tolerate his wrath. Ishani says she can’t miss classes, and she goes after completing work. She adds she is happy she got the chance to continue her studies. Raj didi says she is not understanding what Ishani wants to achieve by studying at this age. Ishani says she is studying for her happiness; that’s it.
Pihu comes there. Ishani tells Pihu to wake up early today. Pihu says she will take Ishani out for some time. Raj didi asks who will cook. Pihu says they can hire a cook, or Raj didi can help Ishani in cooking. She tells Ishani to get ready well. Raj didi says they have so much work, but Ishani is doing all this. Ishani tells Raj didi that she is completing her responsibilities. She moves towards the study room. Raj didi tells Ishani not to disturb Shashwat because he is working. Ishani tells Raj didi that Shashwat is her husband and she knows when to talk to him. She leaves from there.
Shashwat hugs Nandini and congratulates her for getting the contract. He says he is so happy. Ishani comes there and sees this. Shashwat tells Nandini that she has to stay in Kolkata so he is happy. Nandini tells him that he is happier than her. They see Ishani standing outside the room. Shashwat asks Ishani what she is doing there. Ishani tells him that she came to talk to him. Nandini says she will leave. But Shashwat tells her to stay. Ishani takes Shashwat’s blessings. Shashwat asks whether today is Ishani’s birthday. Ishani takes Nandini’s blessings and leaves from there.
Nandini asks Shashwat how he forgot Ishani’s birthday. Shashwat asks her whether she thinks Ishani deserves to be his wife. He says he married Ishani for his kids; that’s it. Nandini asks him what kind of woman he likes. Shashwat tells her that that woman is standing in front of him. Nandini asks him not to joke. Shashwat tells her that he is not joking. He says they are lonely.
On the other hand, Pihu takes Ishani to a restaurant. Ishani asks whether Pihu called someone else too. Pihu replies she did not call anyone. She says she is in love with Anurag. Ishani tells Pihu that Anurag is older than the latter. Pihu says age doesn’t matter in love. Ishani thinks she can’t let Pihu ruin her life. She wonders why she is feeling restless when Pihu talks about Anurag. Pihu asks Ishani not to overthink. She takes Ishani inside. Ishani sees Anurag and birthday decorations. Everyone sings the happy birthday song for Ishani. Anurag wishes happy birthday to Ishani. Ishani thinks Anurag remembered her birthday after all these years.
