The episode begins with Raj didi asking what Ishani can achieve by studying. Ishani says study gives them freedom, and they can live their life the way they want. Raj didi says Ishani is a rich businessman’s wife, and she is getting everything already. Ishani says even the bird who is locked inside the golden cage wants to fly. Raj didi says Ishani talks well.
In the college, Anurag asks Pihu how Ishani is doing and whether Pihu gave notes to Ishani. Pihu gets irritated and asks him why he always talks about Ishani. Anurag asks her to calm down and not forget Ishani is also his student. Pihu says sorry to him. She asks him whether he can never forget his lover. Anurag tells her that he can’t explain why he loves his lover so much, but he can’t forget her. Pihu hopes Anurag will accept her one day.
The next day, Raj didi asks Ishani whether food is ready for Yash. Ishani keeps the plate on the table and says she prepared everything for the ritual. She says Yash may not like her presence; that’s why she did not come to the hall. Raj didi nods at Ishani and leaves from there. Nandini comes there and says she will serve Yash. Ishani says she knew Nandini would say this.
Nandini asks Ishani to not create drama now. Ishani asks what she did. She tells Nandini that the latter should have come to the kitchen instead of gossiping. Nandini tells Ishani not to cross the limits. Ishani says she is standing in her house and she is the stepmother of Yash, but Nandini is a guest of this house. She asks Nandini to not teach her about her limits.
Shashwat comes there and says Yash and the guests are waiting. Nandini tells Shashwat that Ishani was lecturing her. Ishani says she gave a befitting reply to Nandini. She tells them that she won’t tolerate insult and disrespect. Shashwat asks Ishani to not drag the matter. Ishani says she won’t say anything if she won’t get disrespected then. And she deserves respect from everyone, including Nandini. Nandini asks Shashwat why she should listen to all this.
Shashwat tells Ishani that this is his house and his rules will be followed there. He says if anyone has a problem, then they can leave the house. Ishani tells him that their marriage happened legally, so he should throw her out of the house legally. Shashwat tells her that guests are there, so he is not saying anything now. Ishani asks Nandini whether the latter won’t leave until Shashwat leaves from there. She says Nandini doesn’t know to respect husband and wife privacy. Nandini asks Ishani to stop it. Shashwat tells Nandini, “Let’s go for now.” He asks her to not ruin her mood and smile. He takes her from there.
The Aiburobhat ritual begins. Pihu says there is so much food. Yash says he can eat everything and starts eating. He tells Nandini that the food is tasty. Ishani sees everything from upstairs.
