The episode starts with Ranbir and Simran having a conversation. Nimrit complains to Simran that Ranbir didn’t bring anything for her. Ranbir teases Nimrit, saying the latter is going to her in-law’s house, so why should they give her a gift. Nimrit gets annoyed. She tells everyone that she will marry the person who she loves. Balraj tells Nimrit their house has some rules, so the latter should follow it. Nimrit says that she is yet to complete her studies and then work. Balraj reminds Nimrit that their house lady won’t go for work. But Mehar supports Nimrit’s idea, which irks both Balraj and Balveer. They remain silent.
Diljot arrives and asks Ranbir whether he will take her outside or not. Ranbir assures her to take her out. Harman intervenes and asks Ranbir to tell them about his Darjeeling trip. But Mehar inquires with Ranbir about the songs she used to hear when they had a telephonic conversation while he was in Darjeeling. Ranbir tells her and the entire family about spending time with a Bengali who stayed next to his room in the resort. Balraj gets tensed hearing Ranbir’s words. Both Harman and Param tease Ranbir for enjoying someone’s song. Ranbir warns them to stop teasing him.
Later, Param informs Ranbir about Mehar’s plan to fix his marriage. Other family members also inform Ranbir about meeting a prospective bride during his absence. Mehar insists that Ranbir meet the girl. Ranbir gets shocked. He tries to convince Mehar to give him some time to think about his marriage. But Mehar emotionally manipulates Ranbir. Simran intervenes and raises a few questions to Ranbir regarding his marriage, which leaves the latter speechless.
Balraj says to Ranbir that they have fixed his marriage with a girl whose family is perfect for their family. Ranbir tells Balraj that he has seen so many photos, but no one captured his heart. Mehar complains to Ranbir about his change in decision after returning from Darjeeling. She also firmly tells him that she has given her words to the girls family, so he should meet that girl. Ranbir feels helpless. Mehar further shares her worries with Ranbir about his choice of profession. She hopes that after his marriage, he will not focus on his work, which is a risky one. But Ranbir explains that no one can change his decision of working as a pilot because it’s his passion. He further says there is a risk in every work they do, so he requests Mehar to stop worrying about him. Zorawar insults Mehar, saying that the latter isn’t giving space to Ranbir, which leads to an argument between him and Mehar. So Balveer and his wife intervene and try to convince Ranbir to agree for marriage. Ranbir becomes speechless.
Diljot asks Ranbir to marry a girl who is a good singer. Balraj gets annoyed, so he shouts at Diljot. Ranbir stops Balraj from sending Diljot inside. He also questions Balraj about Diljot’s state. Balraj defends whatever he has done to Diljot in the past were right so Amandeep shouts at Balraj for not worrying about Diljot’s future. Diljot also expresses her hate to Balraj. Mehar then questions Ranbir whether he is going to meet the girl or not. Simran encourages Ranbir to confess what’s in his mind. Ranbir confesses, falling in love with a Bengali girl shocking Balraj, Balveer, and Zorawar. Balraj refuses to accept Ranbir’s marriage with a Bengali girl.
Precap: Mehar informs the Sen family about conducting Ranbir’s engagement with their daughter. Sen family gets happy. Adrija speaks with Mehar on the call while Ranbir buys an engagement ring with a letter M engraved in it.
