The episode starts with Mehar encouraging Ranbir to meet the girl whom the entire family has seen and fixed it already. Simran asks Ranbir to say what’s in his mind. Ranbir tells marriage isn’t about buying vegetables. Also, it’s not easy to learn about a person in one day. He further says that he has fallen for a girl with whose family he has spent time in Darjeeling. He wants to marry that girl. Also, she belongs to a Bengali family. Balraj and Balveer oppose Ranbir’s choice by bringing Diljot’s past. But Ranbir defends also he accuses the family members for Diljot’s current state.
Zorawar intervenes and says its difficult to get along with the Bengali family because they’re Punjabi. But both Ranbir and Balveer try to convince Zorawar and Balraj. Balraj inquires with Ranbir about the girls’ fathers’ profession. Ranbir says that her father is a professor, which leads Balraj to comment on it. Ranbir defends and says either he will marry Meghla or else no one which shocks everyone. Mehar asks Ranbir to share the girls’ parents’ numbers. They will visit the girls’ parents’ house. If they like the girl, then they will fix his marriage with the girl or else they won’t. Balraj intervenes and says that he isn’t approving for Ranbir’s decision to marry a Bengali girl. Balveer requests Balraj to let Ranbir marry that Bengali girl. Also, not to stop Ranbir from doing this because of their past fear. So many things have changed from their time to now. Balraj remains stubborn in his decision. He also accuses the family members of taking revenge on him for whatever he has done with Diljot in the past. Diljot shouts at Balraj, but Mehar calms her down. Then, please let Balraj approve the family members’ decision. Amandeep also firmly tells Balraj that they support Ranbir’s decision. Balraj remains upset.
Diljot inquires with Ranbir to show her the girls’ photo. Ranbir promises her. Zorawar asks Ranbir about falling for a girl, reminding him of his lack of desire to marry in earlier days. Ranbir tells him that sometimes it takes only a little time to understand a person, unlike others who need a lifetime to understand their partner, but they fail to do it. Balraj again accuses the family members for not obeying his words because he has become old, and then he leaves. Mehar asks Ranbir to share the girls’ parents’ number with Simran. Ranbir gives it to Simran. Harman and Param excitedly ask Ranbir to share more information about the girl, but the latter firmly refuses, and then he goes inside.
Later, Ranbir is seen playing games with both Harman and Param. Mehar arrives there. She tries to pry more information from Ranbir about the girl who has captured his heart but Ranbir refuses to tell anything instead he asks his family to meet her in person then they will also love her for sure. His confidence leads the family members to pull his legs. Simran arrives. She reminds Mehar about the promise they have made to the other girl family. Ranbir teases Param to marry that girl, but the latter speaks low of himself, so everyone scolds him. Mehar then teases Ranbir for his confidence that they all will like the girl with whom he has fallen after Ranbir tells them that because of the girls pure heart and innocence, he fell for her
