The episode starts with Harman suggesting Mehar to call Meghla’s parents immediately. But Mehar refuses, saying she will contact the family later. She also learns that Meghla’s family will return from Darjeeling the next day, so she decides to speak with them in the next 2 days. Ranbir refuses to accompany his family to visit Meghla’s house. So Mehar expresses her fear about Balraj, but Ranbir assures her that he made it clear to Balraj about his decision. Harman cautions Mehar about Balraj reminding her of what happened to Diljot in the past. So Ranbir inquires with Mehar to tell him about what has happened to Diljot, but the latter gives him very little information. She also says that Ranbir met the Bengali girl a few days back, unlike Diljot and her partner, who has spent more time with them each other. Harman and Param tease Ranbir. Simran sides with Ranbir by giving a fun warning to both Harman and Param.
Ranbir asks Simran what happened between her and Harman. Simran tells how Harman misunderstood her after Nimrit told him about her interaction with her boss. Ranbir tells Simran to understand it’s Harman’s love for her. Simran teases Ranbir for speaking about love. Ranbir recalls Meghla’s words and smiles. Param inquires with Ranbir about his conversation with Simran. Ranbir refuses to tell him anything. Also, he tells it’s a secret between him and Simran, and only both Harman and Simran can understand him. Mehar questions Ranbir’s words so the latter explains how it’s difficult for him to share everything with her because he is her mother. He further teases Param.
Here, Mahua worries about cleaning the house. She also gets upset because their househelp isn’t answering her calls. Meghla calms down Mahua, saying she will help her in cleaning the house. Adrija intervenes and starts insulting Meghla, asking her to do what she is asked to do. Chandan gets angry, so he scolds Adrija. Sen family reaches their house. Chandan questions Adrija for not taking her suitcase with her inside, but the latter defends her act. Also, she orders Meghla to bring her back inside. Both Meghla and Mahua manage the situation to stop Chandan from getting angry on Adrija for her act.
Later, Meghla receives a call, but she decides to answer it later because she is taking the suitcase inside. Mahua decides to invite Ranbir’s family for the Durga puja. She fears their choice of food and culture, which is totally different from their’s. Chandan reminds Mahua not to dream big because Ranbir is someone who will obey his parents’ words. But Meghla says that she is sure Ranbir will convince his family to marry Adrija. Adrija reminds Meghla about the call she has received, so Meghla calls that number and learns it’s Ranbir. Ranbir questions her for not contacting him, but Meghla tells him that she has learned through Adrija about him. She then offers Ranbir to speak with Adrija, but the latter asks her to give the call to her parents. Meghla gives it to Chandan. Adrija gets furious, so she lashes out at Meghla by accusing her of giving her number to Ranbir. Meghla pleads with her to believe she didn’t give her number. Mahua intervenes and calms down Adrija, saying Ranbir is a shy guy, so he chooses to speak with Chandan over her. Adrija remains upset.
Precap: Mehar suggests to the Sen family that they should conduct Ranbir’s engagement this Sunday. She then speaks with Adrija while Ranbir decides to buy a ring with a letter M engraved in it.
