The episode starts with Adrija asking Meghla not to fool their parents by shedding crocodile tears. She further asks Meghla to stop acting innocent, and then she slaps her, which shocks everyone. Meghla cries hard. Guru Ji intervenes, and he questions Adrija’s act. Adrija says to Guru Ji that Meghla deserves this. She further says no one cares about her. Also, she questions everyone whether they’ll remain silent if the same thing has happened to Meghla? Chandan rebukes Adrija. Also, he defends Meghla. Then, he informs Guru Ji about their decision to reject Bajwa’s proposal. Mahua intervenes and supports Adrija, which shocks both Chandan and Guru Ji. She then advises Adrija not to rudely behave with Guru Ji, who is a well wisher of their family. She also asks Adrija to go inside. Guru Ji stops Adrija, saying he has to listen to her. Adrija refuses also she complains to Mahua about Guru Ji, who always speaks in favour of Meghla. She further says to Guru Ji that she has cautioned Mahua about Meghla’s intention for Ranbir, but she refuses to listen to her.
Guru Ji tells Adrija that he won’t get affected by her insults because music has become his strength. He then warns Adrija not to insult Meghla, which he won’t tolerate it. Mahua gets upset. Guru Ji questions Adrija for blaming Meghla, though she lived with her since childhood. Adrija says that they all are only seeing what Meghla is showing to them. But she knows about Meghla’s intention, and then she leaves from there. Chandan apologises to Guru Ji for Adrija’s behaviour. Mahua says that Adrija is right as she cautioned her about Meghla’s behaviour towards Ranbir, but it’s her fault that she didn’t pay any attention to her. Chandan, Guru Ji, and Meghla get shocked hearing Mahua’s words. Meghla pleads with Mahua to believe her that she doesn’t have any ill intentions by holding her legs. She also cries hard. Mahua ignores her, saying that Meghla has people by her side, unlike Adrija, who has no one except her, so she has to go and check upon Adrija. She further stares at Chandan and says that she has only one daughter. Meghla gets hurt, thinking that Mahua is upset with herself, so she is not even considering her as her daughter. While both Chandan and Guru Ji get shocked.
The next day, Meher receives Mahua’s call. Mahua informs Meher about their decision to reject their marriage proposal for Meghla. She rudely talks to Meher. She then makes Chandan speak with Meher to return Balveer’s gift for Adrija. Meher tries to convince them to keep it with them, but Chandan politely refuses it. After the call, both Chandan and Mahua get into an argument. Adrija intervenes and questions Chandan. Mahua advises Adrija. Meanwhile, Meher informs her family members about Sen’s rejecting their proposal. She breaks down, saying that she doesn’t have good fate, and that’s why all these things are happening. Kamla says that she feels Meghla don’t deserve to be their daughter-in-law. Ranbir hears his family members’ conversation from upstairs.
