The episode starts with Adrija telling Chandan that the latter can’t stop her from revealing the truth to Bajwa’s. She then says to Ranbir’s family that she wants to tell them about Meghla’s past. Adrija tells everyone Meghla isn’t part of her family. Both Chandan and Mahua adopted Meghla when Meghla was 2 months old. Everyone gets shocked. Adrija insisted for Ranbir’s family to confirm with Chandan about her claims if they didn’t believe her. Both Balveer and Zoravar questions Chandan. Chandan ends up confessing to everyone that Adrija is saying the truth. Mahua looks worried. Chandan recalls Adrija’s earlier statement, and he gets extremely upset. Meanwhile, Meghla cries, recalling both Mahua and Adrija’s earlier behaviour towards her.
Zoravar rebukes Chandan for hiding Meghla’s true identity from them. He also calls Meghla an orphan saying Chandan planned to fool them, especially Ranbir, by hiding Meghla’s identity truth. He badly criticises Meghla and her family. Chandan loses his calm. He warns Zoravar not to cross his limits. He also reminds it’s Ranbir who is willing to marry Meghla, not the other way around. He further rebukes Zoravar for calling Meghla as an orphan, saying Meghla’s parents are with her. Meghla calls Chandan so the latter rushes to her. He pleads with Meghla not to think wrong about him. Also, he never wanted to tell her this truth because, for him, Meghla is always their younger daughter.
Ranbir inquires with Chandan about Meghla’s biological parents. Chandan says he neither know about them nor he tried to know about them. He further shared with everyone about the story of adopting Meghla from Masoori years ago. Chandan then tells Zoravar that Meghla’s identity is both him and Mahua. So if they are going to call off this wedding, they can because Meghla don’t need any identity. Zoravar mocks Chandan while both Meher and Balveer question Chandan for hiding this truth from them.
Zoravar says that he is glad Ranbir and Meghla didn’t complete their wedding ritual. He also expresses his dislikes for Meghla and says he will never let this marriage take place. Chandan goes and mocks Mahua for Adrija, revealing Meghla’s truth to everyone. Mahua defends Adrija’s act. Chandan then questions Zoravar’s mentality. Zoravar gets furious, so he threatens to file a defamation case against Chandan. Abin intervenes and requests Balveer to stop Zoravar. He further defends Chandan’s reason behind hiding the truth from them. Zoravar asks Abin not to interfere, saying it’s their family matter. Arjun takes Abin’s side, so Zoravar shouts at him to shut up. But Harman also takes both Abin and Arjun’s side.
Harman tells Zoravar that they can’t blame Meghla because she doesn’t know about her identity truth. He then questions Adrija for not telling Meghla’s truth before. Simran decodes Adrija’s conspiracy, which she shares with everyone. She also praises Meghla and her parents for giving a good upbringing to Meghla and having a big heart to adopt Meghla. Param also mocks Adrija. Adrija puts up an act, saying she is concerned about Meghla. Zoravar takes Adrija’s side and taunts his family.
Abin rebukes Zoravar for his behaviour towards Meghla, who is innocent. Meghla falls unconscious. Everyone gets worried. Chandan stops Mahua from going to Meghla. He also asks Ranbir to stay away from Meghla, saying Zoravar’s decision about the marriage. He then calls out Anurag. Param informs Anurag isn’t here, so he will call him. Adrija thinks in her mind that Meghla’s desire to marry Ranbir won’t happen, so now what Meghla will do?
Precap: Both Ranbir and Meghla sing a song together. Adrija fumes in anger and jealousy. She vows to ruin Ranbir-Meghla’s life by entering into Ranbir’s house.
