The episode starts with Chandan performing the vidai ceremony of Meghla by doing rituals. Meghla and Mahua get emotional. Chandan also gets emotional. He also blesses the couple. Harman jokes at Meghla, so Simran requests the former not to make Meghla more nervous. Chandan then requests Ranbir to take good care of Meghla. The latter assures him that he also insists on visiting his house often, and whenever he wants, he will drop Meghla in their house, too. Chandan says to Ranbir that Meghla never cared or wished anything for her, so he asks the latter to take care of Meghla. Ranbir assures him. Chandan then signs at Mahua to perform the ritual. He then goes aside and cries. Mahua performs the ritual, and then she blesses them both. She also apologises to Meghla, saying she is always her younger daughter. Meghla breaks down. Mahua then requests Ranbir to take good care of Meghla. Ranbir obliges.
The guests say to Mahua that they have to perform the other rituals. One of them explains the ritual. Meghla and her parents get emotional. Chandan asks, “What is the need to perform this ritual?” The guest says after so many hurdles this wedding has taken place so they have to perform this ritual. Anurag convinces Chandan to let Meghla perform the ritual. Mahua hugs and breaks down with Meghla. Meghla then performs the ritual. Everyone gets emotional.
After completing the ritual, Meghla’s friends take Meghla to the car. But Adrija intervenes and requests Meghla not to leave, saying she will be left alone. Meghla cries hard. Param badly criticises Adrija, saying the latter isn’t someone who will ever change. Simran feels Adrija has truly changed. Harman receives continuous calls from Balveer, so he informs the same to others. Simran says she will handle this and then approaches Sen sister’s.
Simran says to Meghla it’s time for them to leave. Meghla obliges. She then asks Chandan not to overwork at late night. Chandan promises her. Simran informs everyone that her family members are waiting for Meghla, so they have to leave. Meghla and her family get emotional. Simran tells Chandan to visit their house often. Chandan agrees. Meghla asks Adrija to bring their parents to Bajwa’s house. Adrija agrees. Meghla then leaves with Ranbir and his family. Everyone looks emotional. Chandan breaks down. Anurag tries to comfort him.
Meanwhile, at Bajwa’s house, Balraj criticises Meghla’s identity truth. But Balveer takes Meghla’s side saying Meghla is innocent. Balraj scolds Balveer. Meher also try to make Balraj understand that they shouldn’t blame Meghla. Zoravar asks her not to say anything, which angers Meher, so she argues with him. Kamla requests them both to stop arguing, saying the newly wed couple will reach their house at any time. She also says they should make arrangements to perform the ritual. Balraj firmly tells his family that he won’t allow Meghla to enter his house. Balveer again tries to make Balraj understand the situation, but the latter refuses to listen to him. Zoravar blames Meher. Meher gets furious. She reminds the former that it was him who supported Ranbir’s decision. Just then, they all hear Ranbir-Meghla has reached their house. Balraj orders his family not to welcome Meghla, which shocks and worries them.
Precap: Balraj refuses to accept Meghla as the daughter-in-law. He also badly criticises Meghla and her parents, so the latter takes a firm stand for her parents, surprising Ranbir.
