The episode starts with Mahua telling Chandan whatever Adrija has told about Meghla is true after she has witnessed it. She then demands an answer from Chandan about Meghla’s actions. Chandan asks her what he has to do. Mahua gets upset with him for trying to defend Meghla. Chandan reminds her she is the mother of both her daughters. So they have to end this matter here itself. Mahua gets even more upset with Chandan, saying Adrija is right about him as he always takes the side of Meghla. She then asks him to inform her when he is going to return the jewellery to Bajwa’s. Chandan gets frustrated and tells her he will return the jewellery on his way to his university. Mahua goes inside. Meghla pleads with Chandan to believe her. Chandan tells her that she isn’t a little kid anymore. He also says that he can’t tolerate a word against her, so he asks her to be cautious hereafter. He further pleads with Meghla not to do something because of which he has to face humiliation, then he leaves. Meghla gets hurt.
Later, Chandan visits the Bajwa’s to return the jewellery. They all insist on him to sit with them. Chandan gives into their request. The entire family apologises to Chandan about whatever has happened. Chandan then says to the family members not to force Ranbir to marry Adrija. Meher tries to convince Chandan to accept their marriage proposal for Meghla, but the latter requests them not to speak about this again because they aren’t interested in this proposal. He further says Meghla’s lack of interest in Ranbir’s friendship with her.
Zoravar joins his family members’ conversation with Chandan. He starts criticising Meghla and her education. Chandan gets uncomfortable. Meher intervenes and indirectly reminds Zoravar about his behaviour. Zoravar argues with her. Balveer intervenes and says, “Like every family, their family members also have different opinions. Chandan forces a smile. Zoravar’s behaviour worries the entire family. Ranbir’s cousin decided to inform Ranbir about Chandan’s arrival at first, but they decided not to inform him because Zoravar’s behaviour towards Chandan may lead to an unnecessary fight between Ranbir and Zoravar.
The entire Bajwa family insists Chandan join them for lunch. Chandan politely refuses, saying he is getting late for his classes. Zoravar again insults Meghla. So Meher intervenes and says to live a happy life, education isn’t the only criteria that’s needed. Balveer manages the situation by requesting Chandan to think about their proposal as Ranbir loves Meghla. But Zoravar intervenes and says Ranbir will fall in love with someone else in the future. The entire family gets worried seeing Zoravar’s behaviour. Chandan agrees with Zoravar.
Ranbir’s cousin decided to encourage Ranbir to speak with Chandan one last time. Meanwhile, Chandan returns the jewellery to Bajwa’s. Zoravar offends Chandan with his crude remarks so the latter takes a stand for himself. Harman advises Ranbir to speak with Chandan. Ranbir agrees. He calls Chandan and requests him to meet him. Chandan agrees. Later, both Chandan and Ranbir meet each other. Ranbir apologises to Chandan for everything that has happened. Chandan says it’s not his entire fault. He further requests Ranbir not to speak about this again if they ever meet in the future. He then decides to leave, but Ranbir stops him, saying he wants to speak with him. Chandan stares at Ranbir.
Precap: Ranbir tries to change Chandan’s decision about his marriage proposal, but Chandan clearly says that Meghla will never accept him over Adrija’s happiness.
