The episode starts with Balraj telling his family if Ranbir isn’t stubborn, and then he would have never let this wedding take place. He further vents out his frustration regarding Meghla’s identity. Zoravar starts taunting Meher using this opportunity. The latter gets furious, so she demands an answer from him, but Kamla takes Meher aside, saying they have to prepare for Meghla’s welcome. Kamla then advises Meher, but the latter shares her agony with the former about Zoravar’s torturous behaviour. Kamla convinces Meher to go with her. Later, Meher welcomes both Ranbir and Meghla by performing the rituals. Balveer warmly welcomes Meghla, then he takes Ranbir and other men inside, saying let Meghla perform the rituals with the ladies of the house.
At Sen’s house, Mahua finds Adrija crying, so she asks the latter not to cry, saying she will meet Meghla the next day. She shares her idea with Adrija about the gifts Meghla received for her wedding. She also insists Adrija to gift wrap the gifts for Meghla, and then she goes inside. Meanwhile, at Bajwa’s house, Balraj blesses Ranbir. But Zoravar refuses to bless Ranbir.
Here, Kamla advises Meghla not to get upset if she fails to make all family members happy. Meghla gets confused, but she obliges. Meher questions Meghla if the latter truly doesn’t know about her real identity? Meghla confirms the same saying, neither her parents nor Adrija made her feel that she is not a part of the family. Also, Adrija is ashamed of her act. Meher tells Meghla that if Chandan told them the truth before the wedding, then her wedding wouldn’t have been complicated like this. Just then, Ranbir arrives there. He inquires Meher about her worries. Meher shares with him about a few family members who aren’t happy with his wedding. Ranbir asks Meher if she is happy or not. Meher nods in a positive way. So Ranbir asks her not to worry, and then he takes Meghla with him.
Meghla goes to take Balraj’s blessings, but the latter refuses to bless her. He badly criticises Meghla and Chandan. Meghla firmly requests Balraj not to insult her father. Both Balraj and Zoravar badly criticise Meghla, saying the latter pretends to be innocent to enter into their house. Meghla gets shocked. Ranbir and his cousin take Meghla’s side, but Zoravar warns them.
Back at Sen’s house, Chandan notices Adrija is crying, so he asks her the reason behind it. Adrija cries and says that she is ashamed of her act the previous day. Also, she regrets it. Chandan explains to Adrija how her revelation portrayed him as a betrayer to Ranbir’s family. Meanwhile, Balraj refuses to accept Meghla as his daughter-in-law, and then he tries to go inside, but Meghla stops him. She also proudly talks about her parents, who decided to adopt her when she was only 2 months old. She further says to Balraj that the latter can’t insult her parents. Zoravar gets furious, so he complains to Ranbir about Meghla’s behaviour, but Ranbir defends her upsetting both Balraj and Zoravar.
Simran asks Meghla not to argue with the elders of the family. Meghla defends herself. Balraj gets furious, so he again insults Meghla’s parents. Meghla shouts at him to stop, which stuns everyone. Meanwhile, Chandan tells Adrija whatever the latter done was turned out in a positive way, so he asks her not to feel bad. One of the guest questions Chandan for choosing Meghla over Adrija. Adrija hides her smirk. Chandan firmly says Meghla is his younger daughter.
Here, Meghla firmly asks Balraj not to insult Chandan. She also tells him Ranbir’s wish to marry her even after her father insisted on calling off this wedding after her true identity was revealed. So if he wants to say something, then he can say about either her or Ranbir but not about her parents. Ranbir looks proud while Balraj and Zoravar fumes in anger.
Precap: Bajwa’s gets shocked receiving old and torn clothes as shagun gifts from Sen’s. Meghla tried to defend, but Zoravar shouts at her.
