The episode starts with Chandan telling Mahua about his support for Ranbir and Meghla’s marriage. Adrija, who overhears their conversation, gets determined not to let this happen. Mahua scolds Chandan about his idea. She questions him about his principles. Chandan tells Mahua the Bajwa’s are good for Meghla. Also they will marry Adrija in a very good family. He further explains that Meghla deserves Ranbir and his family. Also, Ranbir loves Meghla unconditionally, so he doesn’t care about Meghla’s past. Meanwhile, Adrija vows not to let this marriage take place. Mahua firmly refuses Chandan’s plan about Ranbir-Meghla’s marriage. Also, she is with Adrija, then leaves. Chandan gets upset.
In Bajwa’s house, the cousin’s teases Ranbir after learning about the latter’s discussion with Chandan. Ranbir gets annoyed, so he decides to leave, but his cousin’s stops him. Simran says that Param said something wrong. Param defends himself. Harman sides with Simran, then teases Ranbir. Nimrit interferes and teases Ranbir. Ranbir complains to his cousin’s for Nimrit teasing him. Meher arrives at Ranbir’s room. She scolds everyone for ignoring her calls. Then she informs Ranbir about Chandan’s visit to their house and also his firm refusal about their proposal. She further expresses her happiness about Ranbir, saying she is glad that he has forgotten Meghla. Ranbir becomes speechless.
There, Chandan persuades Mahua to accept his plan, expressing his fear about Meghla learning about her identity truth. Mahua questions Chandan about his change in decision. She also says that she has never done a partiality between Adrija and Meghla. She always consider both of them as their daughters. Chandan again explains to Mahua about his decision. Mahua shares his fears with Adrija and Meghla’s relationship, which may break forever if this marriage takes place. Also, it will affect Adrija’s mental state. Chandan tells Mahua that he doesn’t have any belief in Adrija, who will accept Meghla as her sister. Adrija overhears their conversation, and she fumes in anger.
At Bajwa’s house, Meher questions Ranbir and his cousin for hiding something from her. They all hesitate to share the information and seek Ranbir’s permission. Meher gets annoyed, so she decides to leave the place. But everyone stops her and encourages Ranbir to inform about Meher everything. Ranbir shares with Meher about his meeting with Chandan. Meher criticises Meghla. But Ranbir defends his choice. He further convinces Meher to wait for Sen’s answer.
Here, Chandan requests Mahua to understand his plan for Meghla. Mahua tells Chandan that she isn’t approving his plan because she is worried about Adrija, who is already affected by everything that has happened. Chandan shares his worries about Adrija’s behaviour towards Meghla. Mahua expresses her disappointment towards Chandan’s statement against Adrija. She again refuses to accept Chandan’s idea of Meghla-Ranbir’s marriage. She also asks Chandan whether Meghla will accept this proposal. She further criticises Meghla of liking Ranbir but not being brave enough to confess it to them. Chandan gets upset and worries what answer he should inform Ranbir to which Mahua says that she will never participate in Meghla’s wedding if he chooses Ranbir for her. She then gets shocked seeing Adrija there along with Chandan.
