The episode starts with Chandan receiving a call from Meher. He understands Meher wants to say something important, so he asks her to say. Meher urges him to come to their house immediately, saying it’s important. Chandan agrees to meet them. Meanwhile, Simran asks Meher why she didn’t inform Chandan about everything. Meher says to her it’s important for Chandan to witness everything with his own eyes. Simran says to Meghla that her family never insulted her in-laws, saying love and respect is a two way thing. Harman still feels Chandan will never do anything such.
Amarjeet badly criticises Meghla and her parents. So Meghla takes a stand for them also she pleads with Amarjeet not to insult her parents. Amarjeet calls her an orphan. Meghla gets shocked. But she says to Amarjeet to say anything about her but not about her parents. Zoravar mocks Meghla. Meher vents out her frustration with Meghla. Balveer decides to buy gifts on their own, but Meghla pleads with the former to wait until Chandan arrives here. Just then, Ranbir arrives there. He learns about the gifts. Meghla says to Ranbir that she is sure there must be a misunderstanding. Zoravar indirectly taunts Meher using this opportunity. Meher gets upset.
Later, Chandan reaches Ranbir’s house. He gets confused by Ranbir’s family members’ behaviour, so Meher decides to show the gifts to Chandan. Param goes inside to bring the gifts. Meghla arrives there. She starts questioning Chandan for sending old and torn clothes as a gift for Ranbir’s family. She asks if he is doing all this because she isn’t his biological daughter. Chandan gets shocked and hurt. Arjun questions Meghla’s behaviour towards Chandan. Meghla defends her act, taking Chandan’s side. Meher misunderstands Meghla, so she questions her. Zoravar intervenes and says he didn’t accept Meghla as his daughter-in-law, but the wedding is not about between two people but between two families. Ranbir arrives there.
Kamla starts explaining to Chandan the reason behind their behaviour towards him. Balveer asks Chandan if they ever pressurised him to do something, saying they would have been happily accepted if he couldn’t afford to give them gifts. He also expresses his disappointment with Chandan. Amarjeet rebukes Chandan. Chandan says he will never do something to insult them. Simran shows the gifts to Chandan. The latter gets shocked seeing the old and torn clothes. Meher informs Chandan that both Ranbir and Meghla received gifts in good condition. Chandan apologises to Ranbir’s family, saying he is ashamed of whatever happened. He also says that he isn’t aware of all this, but he didn’t do all this. So he pleads with them to believe him. Meghla says to Chandan that Ranbir’s family doesn’t deserve these insults. Chandan breaks down.
Arjun says to Chandan that someone is behind all this. Chandan says he doesn’t know, but he is ashamed of everything that has happened. Simran and others encourage Chandan to share with them about his suspicion. Chandan recalls his earlier conversation with Adrija. He tells them that without proof, he won’t blame someone. Zoravar starts taunting Chandan. Ranbir pleads with him to stop. Chandan expresses his pain with Meghla about her statement, saying she is always his daughter. Ranbir says to Chandan that someone intentionally did all this to humiliate the latter and Meghla.
Precap: Ranbir lies to his family that Chandan send gifts for them. Just then, Chandan arrives there with gifts, too. Ranbir, Meghla, and the entire family get shocked, realising Ranbir has lied to them. Zoravar badly criticises Meghla.
