The episode starts with Balraj ordering Ranbir to marry a Punjabi girl whom he has selected for him. Balveer asks Balraj for the reason behind not giving a time for Meghla. Balraj expresses his hatred for Meghla for rejecting Ranbir. Ranbir tells him that he loves Meghla. Balraj firmly refuses, saying that he doesn’t want to repeat the same past. Balveer again intervenes and firmly tells Balraj that they shouldn’t interfere in Ranbir’s life. He further adds that the entire family feels the same. Bebe signs at Ranbir in an assuring way.
In Sen’s house, Meghla is seen singing a song alone in her room. Chandan goes there. He tells Meghla that they have given her a wrong name and also explains the meaning behind her name. Meghla tells him that she is ready to hear him out anything but not about Ranbir and his family. If Ranbir has agreed to marry Adrija, then she is ready to hear him. Chandan pleads with Meghla to hear him out, saying that Ranbir loves her a lot. Also, Ranbir is ready to wait for her five years. He further says to Meghla that he has decided to conduct her wedding with Ranbir. Meghla gets shocked. She firmly objects to Chandan’s decision, expressing her lack of interest in marriage. Chandan remains firm in his decision.
There, Balraj warns his family members if anything bad happens to Ranbir. Ranbir assures Balraj. Balraj again reminds them about his ultimatum. Harman intervenes and insists Ranbir to marry the choice of girl Balraj has chosen for him if Meghla rejects him. Ranbir gets shocked. He convinces Balraj to have faith in his choice. Balraj gets convinced.
At Sen’s house, Meghla shares her worries about Adrija if her marriage happens with Ranbir. She further adds that she wants to live her life spending time with music. Chandan pleads with Meghla to have faith in her change in decision. Meghla breaks down. Chandan requests her not to act in such a way. He also tells her that after he leaves this world, he wants her not to stay alone in her life. He also says that he doesn’t believe in Adrija, who can take care of her. Meghla says that she will take care of her life alone. She also defends Adrija about her reaction. She then asks Chandan to say no to this proposal. Chandan asks her if she is going to go against him. He also says that Adrija will move on eventually. Chandan then praises Ranbir and his family, saying he can’t able to find such a good guy for her. Meghla shares her fear about Ranbir’s family. She further says that she can’t live her entire life with guilt that she has ruined Adrija’s life. Chandan again tries to convince Meghla to accept Ranbir’s proposal. Meghla tells him about the promise she has made to Guru Ji. Adrija arrives there. She insults Meghla. The latter tries to make her understand, but Adrija warns her to stay away from her. Chandan questions Adrija, but the latter defends herself. She then demands a sign from her abroad college admission form. Chandan signs it while Meghla gets upset with Ranbir for the misunderstanding. The next day, Chandan informs Balveer about his decision. Meghla and Mahua look upset.
