The episode starts with Raghav praying to the Goddess, asking her not to take his sister away from him. Reet also prays to the Goddess for Dhruv’s well-being.
Raghav leaves from there. Reet notices the diya about to be blown out by the wind and protects it. The pandit praises Reet and ties a sacred thread to her, saying that the person who wears it will have the blessings of Maata Rani. A while later, Reet spots Sharda.
Reet approaches Sharda and complains that Raghav has abducted Dhruv. She urges Sharda to convince Raghav to release Dhruv and fight her directly if he has a problem with her. Sharda explains that Raghav doesn’t have time for a fight and warns that if anything happens to Unnati, Raghav will not spare Dhruv. Reet asks Sharda what happened to Unnati. Sharda reveals that Unnati slit her wrist and tried to commit suicide. She adds that if anything happens to Unnati, no one can save Dhruv from Raghav’s wrath and reminds Reet that she was the last person Unnati met before the suicide attempt. Reet rushes to meet Unnati.
Reet arrives at the hospital to see Unnati and learns she is in the emergency room. When Reet sees Unnati, she asks why she did such a thing and tells her she thought Unnati was stronger than this. Reet recalls the pandit’s words and ties the sacred thread to Unnati. Unnati begins to regain consciousness, and Reet informs the doctor.
Smita calls Reet and asks her to come home quickly, saying her mother’s health has worsened. Reet leaves the hospital. The doctor informs Raghav that Unnati has regained consciousness, and he goes to see her.
Reet arrives at home, and her uncle tells her the doctor has checked on her mother. Smita urges Reet to find Dhruv quickly or risk losing both Dhruv and her mother.
The next day, Reet reflects on everything that has happened. She prepares a shagun ki thaal and heads to the Suryavanshi mansion.
Raghav gathers Veer and Pratik and tells them he is giving them the responsibility of the Suryavanshi construction business. Pratik questions Raghav about his decision. Unnati, having regained consciousness, intervenes and asks Raghav what he is doing. Pratik explains that Raghav is transferring the responsibility of the construction business to them.
Unnati asks Raghav why he is making this decision, pointing out that Veer and Pratik are not capable of handling the business. Raghav admits that he was so busy with work that he neglected her, leading her to lose trust in him and take such a drastic step. Unnati apologizes, explaining that she thought Dhruv was planning to leave for Delhi. Raghav reassures Unnati that her marriage to Dhruv will happen and makes her promise never to take such a foolish step again.
Reet arrives at the Suryavanshi mansion. Sharda asks her why she is there. Reet responds that she has come to meet Raghav. When Raghav arrives, Reet declares that she is ready to become his “guarantee wife,” but only if he promises to release Dhruv and never harm him. Raghav mocks Reet, pointing out that she had sworn never to marry him, yet she gave in within 72 hours. Reet counters his taunt with a remark of her own.
