The episode starts with Unnati telling Dhruv that Reet and Raghav haven’t argued with each other for seven seconds. Unnati says she just hopes they will stay together like this for seven lives. Reet tells Raghav that the coffee is good. Raghav responds that he did some basic research and makes a comment about it.
Reet and Raghav see on TV that Reet is accusing Raghav of kidnapping Dhruv and forcing him to marry his daughter. In the video, Reet says that if anything happens to her brother, Raghav will be responsible. Reet recalls this video.
It is revealed that Viraj had shown this video to Reet and told her that she could show it to the cops to escape the marriage. Reet tells Viraj she has no choice but to go through with the marriage and asks him to delete the video. Before deleting it, Viraj notices his phone battery is low. He goes to charge his phone and assures Reet he will delete the video.
Reet, seeing the video on TV, assumes Viraj didn’t delete it and instead gave it to the channel to air.
Raghav, furious after watching the video, leaves with Unnati. Reet tries to explain to Raghav that she wasn’t the one who aired the video, but Raghav doesn’t listen and lashes out at her. He and Unnati leave. Dhruv praises Reet, saying she got rid of Raghav this way. Reet denies it and says she would never destroy someone’s reputation to get what she wants.
Unnati stops Raghav and reminds him that she still needs to marry Dhruv and has no other choice. Raghav says he hasn’t forgotten. He tells Unnati to get in the car and asks Bhaumik to do what he instructed earlier. Bhaumik agrees and leaves.
Divya complains to Sharda about Reet becoming the daughter-in-law of the house, saying she doesn’t seem like the kind of person who will follow their rules. Sharda tells Divya that Reet will have to follow the house rules to stay as the daughter-in-law and makes a remark about it.
Viraj sees the video on the news channel and recalls that when he was about to delete it, Aravind had taken his phone to make a call. He realizes that Aravind must have stolen the video from his phone at that time.
Reet confronts Viraj angrily. Viraj explains how Aravind stole the video from his phone.
Reet calls Aravind and asks him to tell Raghav that he was the one who aired the video, not her. Aravind refuses, saying Reet will have to live with the blame. He cuts the call.
Reet lashes out at Viraj again. Shekar comes to Reet and informs her that because of her video, a rival news channel gained high ratings. He mentions there’s a meeting about the issue and assures her that he won’t let her lose her job over it. Reet agrees.
Viren praises Sharda for her ploy. It is revealed that Viren discovered Aravind was blackmailing the Suryavanshi family with the video. Viren shows it to Sharda. Sharda tells Viren that the family is offering Rs. 20 lakhs to air the video on a national channel and says they will see the results the next day. Viren agrees.
Viren comments that now Reet will never become the daughter-in-law of the house. Sharda adds that Reet should never hold that position, as only her authority should prevail in the house.
Poonam and Divya keep an eye on Unnati to prevent her from attempting suicide again. Unnati distracts them by talking about the baby and later gives them the slip.
Poonam and Divya go to Raghav and reveal that Unnati has run away from home.
Reet complains to her family, saying she has been framed. Unnati arrives at Reet’s house and tells Dhruv that they should get married right away because, after what happened, Raghav will never approve of their marriage. Reet’s mother says she will speak to Raghav.
