The episode starts with Reet returning home in dirty clothes. Raghav approaches Reet and asks what she is doing. He accuses her, saying if she thinks this will help her break off the marriage, she is mistaken. Raghav reminds her of everything she has done so far and vows to make her pay for it. Reet defends herself, saying it wasn’t her intention to humiliate his family. Raghav, however, claims to know her true intentions.
When Reet asks him to let go of her hand, Raghav refuses. Sharda intervenes and asks Raghav to leave Reet’s hand. Raghav complies. Sharda then explains to the guests that Reet had gone to the temple to pray and accidentally fell into a pond. She adds that it was good Poonam informed her about it. Sharda instructs Reet’s mother to help her change into clean clothes. Reet’s mother takes her away, while Sharda notices Raghav’s clothes are also dirty and asks him to change as well.
Later, Reet’s mother scolds her, saying it is difficult to maintain a marriage when there is such a difference in status. She adds that Reet’s actions made it hard for her to face the guests. Reet apologizes to her mother.
During the mehndi function, Unnati tells the mehndi artist to hide Dhruv’s name in the design so he won’t be able to find it. The artist agrees.
When the mehndi artist asks Reet what name to write on her hand, Reet says she won’t write her husband’s name. Sharda insists that it’s a ritual. Raghav steps in and writes his name on Reet’s hand himself, declaring that from now on, she is his property. Reet retaliates by writing her name on Raghav’s hand and mocking him. This angers Raghav, and he leaves.
Raghav then meets Sudhir and Viren. He asks them what they were discussing earlier, as Bhaumik had mentioned an investigation in his company. Sudhir begins to explain, but Viren interrupts, sending Sudhir away. Viren tells Raghav that a reporter is investigating their company and shows him an ID card. Raghav asserts that his company is clean but becomes suspicious when he sees the ID card belongs to Reet’s news channel. He suspects Reet is trying to destroy his company’s reputation.
Later, Sharda announces her plan to gift a gold waist belt to Reet. However, she notices the gold waist belt is missing from the jewelry box. Divya questions Sharda about its whereabouts, and everyone starts searching for it.
Divya confronts Smita and accuses her of stealing the gold waist belt, offering to keep it a secret if she returns it. Smita denies the accusation, saying Divya is falsely blaming her. Suman defends Smita, arguing with Divya that they haven’t stolen anything. Divya insists she saw Smita taking the gold waist belt. Reet intervenes, suggesting Smita might have taken it to look at it.
Unnati tells Dhruv that even if Smita has taken the gold waist belt, it doesn’t matter as long as their marriage happens. Dhruv feels offended, believing Unnati thinks his family stole the gold waist belt. In anger, he threatens to call off the wedding. Unnati accuses Dhruv of not wanting to marry her and storms off.
Dhruv later apologizes to Unnati. She teases him, saying she doesn’t even have a selfie with him to prove they are a couple. Dhruv agrees to take a selfie with her.
Meanwhile, Sharda privately confronts Sudhir and demands the gold waist belt. Realizing Sharda knows he stole it, Sudhir pleads with her not to tell anyone and hands over the gold waist belt. Sharda decides to use the gold waist belt to humiliate Reet’s family.
Reet suggests that everyone’s belongings, including those of the guests and Raghav’s family, should be searched if the gold waist belt isn’t found. Divya questions why her family is being searched, and Reet remarks sharply in response.
