The episode starts with Raghav telling Reet that he is also looking for the person misusing his company’s name. Reet asks Raghav if he is investigating who is behind Thakkural Constructions. Raghav says he has been investigating it for a long time. Viraj shows Reet the sale deed of Thakkural Constructions. Pratik asks Raghav to come, saying everyone is waiting for him and Reet. Raghav tells Pratik he will come in a minute and asks him to leave. Pratik leaves. Raghav then warns Viraj to leave immediately, or he will call the cops and accuse him of stealing confidential documents. Hearing this, Viraj leaves.
Reet tells Raghav that they should not get married because she doesn’t like him. Raghav responds that he doesn’t like her either. He explains to Reet that a marriage requires love, respect, and other emotions, but their relationship is not a real marriage. Raghav calls her his “guarantee wife” and nothing more. He then dances with Reet.
Poonam announces to everyone that Raghav and Reet will now get engaged. However, Raghav refuses, saying that Unnati and Dhruv should get engaged before them.
Reet goes to meet Viraj. Viraj tells her that this is not a small issue but big news. He suggests that Reet could regain her job with this story. Reet, however, asks Viraj not to do anything, as exposing the news will also affect the Suryavanshi family. Viraj questions why she cares about the Suryavanshi family. Reet explains that she has to be concerned because Dhruv is about to become their son-in-law. She asks Viraj not to act without informing her. Reet then leaves.
Unnati shows Dhruv an engagement ring she has brought and asks him to put it on her finger. Dhruv tells Unnati that the engagement ring he places on her finger should come from their side. Unnati argues that high-society people will gossip if he puts a low-value ring on her hand. Dhruv insists on discussing this with Reet and leaves.
Sharda approaches Unnati and reminds her that everything will happen according to Reet. Unnati denies this.
Dhruv talks to his mother and Reet about the engagement ring. Reet asks him what he wants to do. Dhruv says he wants to place the ring his mother gave him on Unnati’s finger. Reet encourages him to do so. Dhruv worries about the opinions of high-society people, but Reet advises him not to worry. Dhruv agrees.

Raghav and Reet prepare to exchange rings. Suddenly, the lights go out. Reet suggests they place the rings on their own fingers and pretend they completed the ring ceremony. Raghav and Reet then swap rings.
The cops arrive at the Suryavanshi mansion and announce they have come to arrest the owner of the collapsed building construction. They arrest Sudhir.
It is revealed in a flashback that Sharda gave Thakkural Constructions to Sudhir, who accepted it happily. Sharda later asked Viren to hide the documents in a way that Reet would find them with great difficulty.
While being taken away, Sudhir tells the cops that Viren and Sharda are behind the incident.
