Episode begins with Kusum doing Tulsi puja at night. Jagannath is walking worried. Purvi watches both of them and worries for them. Jagannath asks Purvi if she trust me blindly? Purvi says yes. Jagannath says you shouldn’t because whatever I have done till today is all wrong, see this medal I received for 40 years of service but it’s fake, it’s just 100 rs worth, my lifetime service us just of 100 rs value. Kusum hears all this but doesn’t show her reaction. Jagannath says today I have nothing with me, my house is at stake but I am helpless. Jagannath gets emotional. Jagannath says today is the prove that doing work honestly will make you live a middle class life, I feel I was sleeping all these years, I should have taken bribe? Those who did that are at a good position in life Virender said it rightly, that all my life I did everything honestly but got nothing. Jagannath remembers that Viren gave him the authority of it’s bank account and sees his passbook. Jagannath says he has 25 lakhs in his account so I can take it today and then refill the money slowly.
Kusum comes and tells Purvi that the test of a man’s ethics is in the problematic situation only, I might not talk to him but I won’t let him do wrong, I know my husband’s ethics and his ethics doesn’t allow him to do this thing, tell your uncle Purvi. Jagannath watches her and sits. Purvi watches both of them. Kusum leaves. Purvi sits down and asks Jagannath to listen to Kusum, you are not weak, you are our guide, you are always my idol no matter what, we all believe in you. Jagannath gets emotional and says okay, go and tell Kusum to be ready to lose this house, the house which we spent lifetime to make it a home with love and care, the house which is our ancestors, it will break tomorrow and it won’t be easy to watch.
All night, Jagannath sits in the hall and Purvi sits nearby. Kusum also stays awake. Jagannath sees Purvi sleepy so he asks her to go and sleep as it’s 2am. Purvi says I am alright. Jagannath says in this condition you should take proper rest and ask your aunty to rest too, or else her joint pain will start. Kusum asks Purvi to tell Jagannath why is he not sleeping? He also is not habitual to staying awake. Jagannath says this is our last night in this house, so I want to live every moment. Jagannath asks Purvi to tell Kusum to pack her bags as they will go to their village and renew their home in village. Kusum says it has been ages we have gone to village, I thought I will go from this house when I die, I will be decorated as bride and will go as bride from this house, but no issues whatever Jagannath says it will happen. Kusum gets emotional remembering all her moments in the house in all parts of the house. Jagannath also goes down the memory lane.
Purvi, Kusum and Jagannath sleep in the hall. Next day, Alok gets up early and starts packing. Gunjan says where are we going? Alok says I talked to your dad last night, he said we can stay with them for few days. Gunjan says I am not okay with it, what about Kusum and Jagannath? Alok says he might go to village or to Kashi’s house. Gunjan says so you will just leave them? Alok says I don’t know, I am guilty. Gunjan says so that’s why you are not facing your issues? Aren’t you ashamed to leave your old parents here alone? Alok says I am responsible and I wanted to save the house but dad filed an FIR against me and mom got mr out and now he is angry at both of us. Gunjan says have you even tried to do something so that he forgives you? You can go wherever you want but I won’t go, I will stay here with Kusum and Jagannath. Gunjan begs Alok not to do something to make her feel ashamed of him. Here, Kusum is doing puja when bell rings. Deepa goes to open it as Jagannath is doing yoga. Few men say that Subodh has sent them to check the house from inside as today is the auction. Kusum says but it’s later. The men says we need to evaluate now. Jagannath asks them not to make a fuss. Kusum worries and gets anxious. Deepa asks the men to wait, they go in and Kusum worries. Jagannath does yoga.
