The episode starts with Sapna spotting Jagriti in her home. Sapna pushes Jagriti down and angrily asks how she dared to come there. Jagriti picks up her things and replies that she only came to apply sindoor to Geeta and tie the sacred thread on her. Avadhesh tells Jagriti to look at God’s play, saying that the sindoor has already fallen on Geeta. Sujata interrupts and asks Avadhesh to stop. She pleads with him, saying that if the truth about Geeta is revealed, society will not accept her and will reject her. Avadhesh asks Sujata if she still wants to keep the truth hidden. Sujata insists that there is still time to handle the situation and makes her point.
Sujata begs Jagriti not to reveal to Geeta or anyone else that Geeta is her mother. Sujata pleads with Jagriti to save Geeta, saying that if the truth comes out that Geeta has a Chhita daughter, she will not survive the humiliation. Jagriti silently tells Bindi in her heart that she now understands why she always says her mother has become a star. Jagriti ties the sacred thread on Geeta and applies sindoor to her forehead. She places Geeta’s hand on her head as if seeking her blessings. Jagriti promises Geeta that she will live long and vows to do anything to ensure that, even if it means hiding the truth that she is Geeta’s daughter.
Amol then intervenes and tells Jagriti that her family drama has gone on long enough. He warns her that if she comes near Geeta again, Geeta will not survive and asks Jagriti to leave immediately. Jagriti takes Geeta’s anklet and says it is a symbol of Geeta. Jagriti recalls that when Geeta gave birth to her, she was wearing this anklet. She warns that this anklet must never come before Geeta, as it would expose the entire truth. Jagriti hands the anklet to Amol and leaves.
Jagriti later goes to the Ram temple, where she dreams of Mangala approaching her and calling her and her mother a jinx.
Geeta’s condition is shown to be deteriorating. Jagriti dreams of Sujata and Sapna scolding her. Thinking about her mother, Jagriti shouts for her. Geeta appears in her dream and tells Jagriti that she is there for her. Jagriti tells Geeta that everyone has warned her not to reveal the truth. Geeta responds that she doesn’t care about the world’s opinion and promises that she will always be her mother. Geeta then loses consciousness. Jagriti tries to wake her up.
Meanwhile, the nurse informs Amol and the others that Geeta’s pulse is dropping. Jagriti suddenly snaps out of her daydream and asks God why He made her meet her mother if she can’t even be with her.
A sadhu approaches Jagriti and advises her not to be sad. He tells her that if she has any doubts, she can ask him. Back at Geeta’s home, the doctor informs her family that she is currently out of danger. Sapna anxiously asks why Geeta isn’t opening her eyes. The doctor explains that she is unconscious and emphasizes that Geeta needs their prayers more than their medicine.
The sadhu tells Jagriti that no one can escape fate. Jagriti asks him if she will never be able to tell anyone that Geeta is her mother. The sadhu advises Jagriti to trust her karma and complete the Chhath Vrath for her mother. He blesses her and departs.
