Jagriti 22nd December 2024 Written Update on SerialGossip.in
The episode begins with a person in a hoodie creating a mess in Amol’s room and fitting a spy camera inside a small plant pot.
Meanwhile, Kalindi gives her followers a tour of the Kalikant mansion and introduces them to Kalikant’s mother. Kalindi notices Jagriti leaving and asks her where she is going. Jagriti replies that there is a festival celebration in the Chitta community and she plans to participate. Kalindi expresses interest in attending as well. Kalikant’s mother advises against it, explaining that the Chitta people have strict rituals—if anyone touches a Chitta, they must purify themselves with sacred water. Yet Kalindi insists on exploring their culture and makes a few comments about it. She leaves for the Chitta community with Jagriti.
Akash approaches Jagriti and says he will accompany her to the Chitta community since he wants to help her prepare for an essay competition. Jagriti agrees and allows him to join.
Back in Amol’s room, he discovers the mess and realizes the money in his cupboard is missing. Suspecting Inspector Singh, Amol calls him and demands he come to his room immediately. The person in the hoodie observes everything through a phone.
At the Chitta community, the people are shown celebrating their festival. Jagriti introduces Kalindi to the Chitta people as a guest of Kalikant. Durjan instructs Nanda to welcome Kalindi grandly, but Kalindi dismisses the need for it and makes a few comments.
Akash takes Jagriti aside and asks if she knows what to write for her essay. Jagriti recalls Ganga explaining the history of the Chittas. Ganga said that during British rule, the Chitta people fought alongside the Rajputs and Marathas against the British. Their bravery was so feared that the British introduced a law labeling every newborn Chitta as a “born criminal.” Although this law was abolished after India gained independence, society still stigmatizes the Chitta community as criminals, and many Chitta people have resigned themselves to this label.
Jagriti tells Akash that she will write about the Chitta people’s true history in her essay. She plans to show how great the Chittas were in the past, ensuring that anyone who calls them “born criminals” will think twice.
In Amol’s room, he accuses Inspector Singh of stealing the Rs. 10 lakhs, as he was the only one who knew about it. Amol reminds him that they took Rs. 20 lakhs from Kalikant to frame Geeta, used Rs. 10 lakhs, and kept the remaining amount in the cupboard. Inspector Singh denies the accusation, saying he wouldn’t steal the money since all the bills are marked by the Anti-Corruption Bureau. Amol panics and says they will be in trouble if the money is not found. Together, they search the room and eventually find the money. Amol checks and is relieved to see the amount is intact.
It is then revealed that the person in the hoodie is Geeta. She silently tells Amol in her mind that she now has evidence against him, mentally declaring “checkmate.”
Amol and Inspector Singh discuss who could have entered the room and caused the mess. Inspector Singh suspects Geeta, saying she might have had a motive. He then spots the spy camera. Furious, Amol vows not to spare Geeta and orders Inspector Singh to alert all the cops and recover the recording from her at any cost. Inspector Singh agrees. Geeta, on the other hand, worries about being caught by Amol.
At the Chitta community, Jagriti and Akash notice Kalindi interacting with the people. Jagriti makes a comment about Kalindi. Meanwhile, Durjan hears the sound of Kalikant’s vehicle approaching. Jagriti warns Akash to hide, saying that if Kalikant finds him there, he will be punished.
Geeta contacts her superior over the phone and informs him that she has the recording, but Amol now knows she has evidence against him. Her superior advises her to send the video immediately and hide in a safe place. Geeta decides to hide in the jungle. As she tries to send the video, her phone unexpectedly turns off before the upload is complete.
The episode ends.
