The episode starts with Jagriti waiting for Geeta at the river. Geeta sneaks out of the house, worried about Jagriti.
Kachori tells Jagriti that the sun is about to rise and that it seems everyone is going to come to do the Pooja.
Bindi worries about Jagriti. Geeta arrives at the Chitta community. Geeta asks Bindi where Jagriti is. Bindi criticizes Geeta, saying that since Geeta came into Jagriti’s life, Jagriti has only suffered. Geeta pleads with Bindi to tell her where Jagriti is. Bindi reveals that Jagriti is doing Chhath Puja for her and is staying in the water for her. Upon hearing this, Geeta leaves.
Kalikant’s family and others arrive at the ghat. Akash apologizes to Jagriti for not being able to stay with her last night.
Raka’s wife asks Bindi what she will do if Jagriti tells Geeta the truth, as Bindi has already told Geeta where Jagriti is. Hearing this, Bindi leaves.
Geeta arrives at the ghat. Akash asks Geeta if she is fine. He tells Geeta that Jagriti stayed in the river the whole night for her, and that Jagriti told everyone she would not come out of the water until Geeta came to her.
Geeta asks Jagriti why she did Chhath Puja for her. Jagriti invites Geeta to do the Chhath Puja with her, and Geeta agrees. Kalikant calls Amol.
Geeta performs Chhath Puja with Jagriti. Later, Geeta notices that Bindi hasn’t applied sindoor, even on the day of the Chhath Puja, and grows suspicious.
Geeta asks Jagriti why she did Chhath Puja for her and what her relationship with Geeta is. Jagriti sees Amol and Geeta’s family. She reminds Geeta that she is the one who wiped away the stain of a born criminal from her life and says, “If I don’t do Chhath Puja for you, who will I do it for?” Geeta is taken away by her family, and Jagriti leaves.
Durjan says to everyone that while he knows Jagriti is smart, he didn’t realize she was this mature. He says that by hiding the truth from Geeta, Jagriti did good for the entire Chitta family. Ballu comments on it. Jagriti approaches Harish. Harish questions Jagriti about why she didn’t tell Geeta the truth. Jagriti hugs Harish and stays silent.
Later, Harish tells Jagriti that she made a great sacrifice. Jagriti responds that she cannot destroy Geeta’s life for her own selfish reasons.
Akash asks Ganga why Jagriti didn’t tell Geeta the truth. Ganga says that Jagriti must have had a reason for doing so. Akash comments that while Jagriti may have a reason for not telling the truth, he doesn’t see any reason for her to keep it a secret. He asks Ganga to call Geeta and tell her the truth.
The next day, Geeta wakes Jagriti and tells her that she knows the truth.
