The episode starts with Kachori telling Jagriti that a stepmother is usually cruel and comments on it. Jagriti responds that Bindi loves her. Kachori remarks that once Bindi becomes a stepmother, her love for Jagriti will also fade. Kachori then asks Jagriti to come with her, saying she will show her how cruel a stepmother can be.
Meanwhile, Ganga asks Akash to wake up. She removes the blanket and finds a pillow instead of Akash. Akash is shown to have lost his way in the jungle. He finds Chikoo, his rabbit friend, and tells him that he wants to go to Jagriti to apologize. Akash asks Chikoo if he can take him to Jagriti. Chikoo shows Akash the way, and Akash follows.
Kachori takes Jagriti to a corner and shows her how cruelly a stepmother treats a child, commenting on it. Jagriti notices Chikoo and asks how she ended up there. Akash arrives and tells Jagriti that Chikoo brought him. Jagriti asks Akash why he came, and Akash explains that he came to apologize and shows her the “Sorry” card he made. Jagriti urges him to leave, warning that if Kalikant finds out he’s there, both he and she will be punished. Just then, Kachori and Jagriti spot Durjan approaching. Jagriti hides Akash under a basket. Durjan asks what they are hiding under the basket. Kachori tells him that Jagriti caught a chicken and hid it for Harish and Bindi’s Haldi ceremony. Durjan, skeptical, comments that he doesn’t believe Jagriti would catch a chicken. He lifts the basket, finds a chicken, and comments on it. Jagriti and Kachori are shocked, as Akash is no longer under the basket.
Akash reflects that it was his “superman move.” In a flashback, it’s shown that Akash slipped out from under the basket, replaced himself with a chicken, and escaped. He realizes he needs to get home quickly and leaves.
Ganga is worried about where Akash could have gone. She finds crumpled papers and realizes that Akash wrote an apology to Jagriti. She understands that he went to apologize to her. Kalikant’s mother approaches and asks where Akash is. Ganga lies, saying he is in the washroom with an upset stomach. Kalikant’s mother believes her and leaves.
Ganga is shown to be in a dilemma about whether to tell Kalikant the truth. Suraj goes to Akash’s room, teasing him to come out of the washroom. When he realizes Akash isn’t there, he informs Kalikant that Akash is missing. Just then, Akash returns and says he’s here. Kalikant asks where he had gone. Akash says he went to milk the cow because his grandmother said raw milk would cure an upset stomach. Kalikant’s mother comments that it’s actually the opposite. Kalikant receives a call and leaves.
Kachori asks Jagriti how they will turn the chicken back into Akash. Jagriti laughs, saying that Akash must have escaped and put the chicken under the basket. She attributes Akash’s cleverness to his education. Kachori advises Jagriti to get an education as well, warning that once Bindi becomes her stepmother, she might not be allowed to study. Jagriti agrees.
Jagriti then mentions she is planning to visit Kalikant’s house that night to arrange time for her studies the next day. Kachori agrees.
