The episode starts with Durjan telling Jagriti that if she wants them to start Harish’s treatment, she needs to become a Chitta and eat meat. Mangala urges Jagriti to agree to Durjan’s condition. Jagriti agrees. Nanda, seeing this, asks Vaidya Ji to begin Harish’s treatment, which he does. Durjan announces that today there will be a celebration because Jagriti is going to become a Chitta.
Durjan arranges non-vegetarian items and asks Jagriti to eat the food. Harish regains consciousness and asks Mangala about Jagriti. Mangala tells him that Durjan has made Jagriti a Chitta and from today, Jagriti will live like one. Hearing this, Harish remembers the promise he made to Geeta—that their daughter would not live as a Chitta and would live life on her own terms. Harish rushes to find Jagriti.
Nanda tells Jagriti that she will personally feed her the meat. Nanda asks her to eat it, but Jagriti refuses.
Harish sees Nanda forcing Jagriti to eat the meat and tells Jagriti not to. Jagriti tries to go to Harish, but Nanda stops her, reminding Jagriti that she promised to eat the meat and that Harish’s treatment is not yet complete. Hearing this, Jagriti reluctantly agrees. Harish intervenes, telling Jagriti she doesn’t need to eat meat and promises to start earning money from that day forward. Jagriti asks if it’s true, and Harish assures her it is. Mangala doubts Harish, asking how he can work while still unwell. Ballu also mocks Harish, bringing up his alcoholism. Ballu taunts Harish by showing him a bottle of alcohol. Harish takes the bottle and breaks it, declaring that he has given up drinking and asking them to trust him.
Harish begs Durjan not to force Jagriti to eat the food, explaining that it will make her sick. Durjan agrees but sets a new condition: he wants Harish to be the man he was eight years ago. Harish agrees. Everyone leaves. Ballu worries that if Harish has truly changed, it will be trouble for him, and he decides to visit Kalikant.
Back at home, Harish realizes there is no vegetarian food for Jagriti. He comments on this to Mangala, saying that from now on, Jagriti will eat what she likes. Mangala mocks them and leaves. Bindi brings milk and offers to make Kheer, as it is Jagriti’s favorite. Harish feels guilty, realizing that in his intoxicated state, he didn’t even know what his daughter liked. He decides to make Kheer for Jagriti and feed it to her himself.
Harish feeds Jagriti the Kheer. He notices an eyelash has fallen from Jagriti’s eye and asks her to make a wish. Jagriti asks why, and Harish remembers Geeta telling him that losing an eyelash means God will grant them something in return. He explains this to Jagriti.
Jagriti makes a wish, hoping her mother will return to her. She tells Harish that Mangala always said her mother died because of her and comments on the pain it causes her. Harish reassures Jagriti that none of it is her fault.
