The episode starts with Bindi raising her hand at Jagriti. Harish stops Bindi and asks her what she is doing. Bindi asks Harish what else she can do, as Jagriti’s own foolishness is putting her life in danger. Bindi reminds Harish that Ganga saved Jagriti today and asks him what they would do if Ganga hadn’t saved her. Harish remains silent. Jagriti picks up a fire log and asks Bindi to use it to punish her. Bindi asks Jagriti why she’s saying that. Jagriti tells Bindi that she should punish her this way once Bindi becomes her stepmother. Harish asks Jagriti who told her all this. Jagriti explains that Pushpa’s stepmother treats Pushpa that way. Bindi asks Jagriti if she really thinks Bindi would treat her like a stepmother. Bindi promises Jagriti that she will not marry Harish until Jagriti accepts her as a mother. Bindi then hugs Jagriti.
Kalikant apologizes to Ganga for raising his hand at her. He says he knows she wanted a daughter since she was pregnant with Akash, which is why she raised Akash like a girl. However, he says it isn’t right for her to see her daughter in Chitta. Kalikant tells Ganga that if she wants a daughter, he will fulfill her wish, and he asks her to come to him.
The next day, Jagriti is shown washing clothes. Akash approaches her and apologizes for not being able to help her yesterday. Jagriti tells him there’s no need to apologize, as he did nothing wrong; the mistake was his father’s, not his. Akash agrees and comments on the situation. He asks Jagriti what she wants to do. Jagriti replies that if possible, she wants to go to the police station and burn the documents that label Chitta as a born criminal. She admits, however, that she doesn’t know where the police station is. Akash suggests she could ride in the police jeep, as it delivers lunch to the station from their home. Jagriti agrees and decides to finish her chores quickly so she can go to the police station.
Jagriti sees the police jeep about to leave Kalikant’s home. Akash approaches her and says he’ll accompany her to the police station.
Bindi arrives to pick up Jagriti from Kalikant’s house and notices her in the back of the police jeep with Akash. She chases the jeep.
The police jeep arrives at the station. Bindi spots Kalikant and Amol there. When a cop is about to retrieve food from the jeep, Bindi worries Jagriti might be caught, so she throws a rock at Kalikant’s car. The cops look around to see who threw the rock. Meanwhile, Akash and Jagriti slip out of the jeep. Jagriti’s skirt gets caught on the car, and Akash tears it to free her before leading her away. Kalikant tells Amol it was probably just a monkey and asks the cops to ignore it. Geeta and Sapna arrive at the police station, and Amol greets Sapna. Bindi realizes that Amol is Geeta’s husband.
Kalikant tells Geeta he came casually, not as a criminal. Geeta makes a comment, and Amol changes the subject. Kalikant then invites Geeta and her family to his home for the Diwali function. Sapna and Amol accept.
Akash and Jagriti spot the room where the files on the Chitta people are kept. They use a rope to climb through a window. While entering, Akash accidentally drops something, prompting Inspector Pratap Singh to investigate the noise.
