The episode starts with Harish hearing Ballu approaching, so he tells Jagriti to run away. Jagriti escapes, but Ballu and his henchmen spot Harish and surround him. They demand to know Jagriti’s whereabouts, but Harish remains silent. Ballu notices Jagriti’s dress hidden in the dry grass and assumes she is there. He approaches the grass cautiously.
Meanwhile, Inspector Pratap arrives at the court and informs Geeta that Jagriti has escaped. Geeta questions how a little girl could escape from them. Inspector Pratap explains that people from the Chitta community attacked them and took Jagriti away. Geeta asks why the Chitta community would help her, as she is fighting for them. Jagmohan, the lawyer, interjects that the Chitta community should understand that Jagriti’s crime will be proven and she will be punished. Geeta reminds Jagmohan that he was the one who had a heart attack the previous day. She orders the police to bring Jagriti to the court at any cost, declaring that the court will not adjourn until she is present. Geeta also summons Kalikant to attend the hearing.
Ballu stabs into the dry grass, but one of his men stops him, pointing out that there is no blood on the knife and suggesting he take a closer look. Ballu realizes that Jagriti isn’t there.
Meanwhile, Akash arrives with a few children from the Chitta community and gives Jagriti a change of clothes to divert Ballu and his men.
Jagriti sees Harish fighting with Ballu and his henchmen. She tries to help, but Akash stops her, assuring her that Harish doesn’t need help as he is handling them well. Akash advises Jagriti to head to the court instead.
Ballu’s men spot Jagriti and capture her, but Akash throws sand in their eyes and rescues her. Ballu chases after Jagriti, intent on killing her, but she manages to escape.
Kalikant arrives at the court, where Amol and Inspector Pratap greet him. Kalikant mocks Amol for being unable to control his wife and vows to get revenge on Geeta for summoning him to court.
Jagriti escapes from Ballu and finally reaches the court, where the police allow her entry.
Kalikant suggests to Amol that he should have requested another date for the case, but Amol explains that Geeta is determined not to adjourn until Jagriti arrives. Kalikant is skeptical, doubting that Jagriti will make it.
As Kalikant walks through the court, he encounters Jagriti and tries to choke her, but Amol stops him, reminding him that the media is watching. Kalikant restrains himself.
Jagmohan expresses doubt to Geeta about Jagriti showing up, but just then, Jagriti enters the court with visible injuries. Geeta takes her to her chamber.
Kalikant scolds Amol and Inspector Pratap for their incompetence and makes a phone call.
The doctor examines Jagriti, and Geeta tells her they can resume the hearing once she feels better. Jagriti insists on continuing, explaining that someone tried to kill her, and she reached the court with great difficulty. She asks Geeta to finish the hearing if possible today. Geeta agrees, and the doctor leaves. Geeta exits with the doctor, while Jagriti picks up her mother’s anklet, feeling as though her mother is speaking to her.
Geeta resumes the court hearing and calls Kalikant Thakur to the stand, questioning him about his accusation that Jagriti stole his watch. She asks why Jagriti would come to his home in the first place. Kalikant claims that his house is like a temple and that people often come to see him, but insists that Jagriti stole his watch. The lawyer criticizes Jagriti, but she defends herself, saying it’s a lie. She explains that she only wants an education to erase the label of “born criminal” from her fate, but when she tried to enroll in school, the principal told her she needed a letter from Kalikant Thakur.
