The episode starts with Champa offering water to Jagriti. Ganga doesn’t understand how to help Jagriti.
Jagriti tries to mix a little of the Gangajal she has into the water given by Champa, but the Gangajal doesn’t fall in. Jagriti tells Champa that she can’t drink the water because not even a drop of Gangajal entered the glass. Hearing this, Champa comments on Jagriti and leaves. Jagriti wonders where she will find Gangajal.
Akash arrives and says he brought Gangajal. Jagriti asks Akash why he is there and whether Kalikant forgave him. Akash replies that it is all because of Chhathimaya. Hearing this, Jagriti praises the goddess. She later asks Akash how he knew she needed Gangajal. Akash tells her that Kalikant and his mother know everything happening in the Chitta community and that they are aware she is performing the Chhath Puja. Akash admits he overheard that Jagriti might not be able to complete the puja and informed Ganga. He adds that Ganga instructed him to immediately deliver Gangajal to Jagriti so she could purify any impure food or water with it. Jamuna leaves with Akash to meet Jagriti. Akash then gives the Gangajal to Jagriti.
Jagriti drinks the Gangajal and completes her vrat. Meanwhile, Geeta is shown responding to her treatment. Sapna asks the nurse to check what is happening. The nurse examines the monitor and gives Sapna the good news that Geeta is recovering. Sapna tries to call Amol to inform him, but he doesn’t answer. Amol is shown sleeping with a prostitute.
The next day, Avadhesh and Sujata visit Geeta and ask Sapna why Amol hasn’t contacted them about Geeta’s condition. The doctor tells Geeta’s parents that it is truly a miracle she survived the blast and is responding to treatment so quickly. He says it feels like a divine power is helping her. The doctor adds that it’s fortunate the Chitta girl and her father saved Geeta.
Jagriti waits for Ganga at the ghat to learn the next steps of the Chhath Puja ritual. Kalikant’s mother, Akash, and Ganga arrive at the ghat. Akash notices Jagriti and distracts Kalikant’s mother by telling her that chewing gum is stuck to her saree. Ganga then approaches Jagriti and explains the next steps of the ritual.
Avadhesh and Sujata wonder how Amol could be so negligent toward Geeta and feel grateful to the Chitta people who saved her. Harish observes this from a distance and feels relieved, thinking Avadhesh won’t let anything happen to Geeta.
Jagriti, after learning about the ritual, leaves. Later, Jagriti and Kachori discuss how they will manage to buy fruits for the puja.
