The episode begins with Riddhi seeing Neel wiping his tears. She says on one side Neel claimed he is not affected by getting separated from family, but on the other side, he is crying. Neel tells her it’s acting. He says if his parents become unwell, then he has to go to them to take care of them, and he doesn’t want to leave this luxurious life. She asks him whether he is not ashamed of himself for talking like this. He tells her he is hungry and leaves from there. She follows him.
Parameswari asks Riddhi to feed Neel. Riddhi says she can’t do that. Parameswari compels Riddhi to feed Neel. Riddhi feeds Neel. Parameswari tells Neel to feed Riddhi. Neel feeds Riddhi (the Apna Bane Le Piya song plays in the background). Parameswari smiles seeing this. Vicky gets irritated seeing this. He thinks he should have done all this with Riddhi.
Kanchan says that’s so cute. She reveals she invited her friends for the muh dikhai ceremony. She says she chose an outfit for Neel because Sumati chose Riddhi’s marriage outfit. She shows a saree and says Neel has to wear this. Parameswari asks whether Kanchan has become mad. Riddhi tells Kanchan that this is wrong. Kanchan asks Riddhi to not interfere. She says Neel can wear a saree if he can perform the griha pravesh ritual then. She asks Neel whether he will wear it or not. Neel agrees to wear a saree. Everyone gets shocked hearing this.
Riddhi asks Neel whether he is mad. Neel tells Riddhi that it’s okay. He calls the tailor and asks for a stitched kurta from the saree. Parameswari screams and says that’s her mother’s saree. Kamlesh tells Neel that he can’t tear this saree. Kanchan says tomorrow her friend is coming. Neel takes the saree and goes inside.
Later, Riddhi tells Kanchan that it’s Neel’s insult. Kanchan says Riddhi started taking Neel’s side after marriage. She reveals she is testing Neel. She tells Riddhi that she wants to check what is important for Neel between his ego and his love. She adds if Neel passes this test, then he won’t leave Riddhi ever.
On the other hand, Manjari gives tea to Sumati. She says Gangadhar left for the temple. Sumati hallucinates Neel and asks him why he did not go to the temple. She tells Neel not to marry Riddhi. Manjari gets shocked hearing this. Sumati tells Manjari that she is above anyone for Neel. She says she has to cook and goes inside.
Riddhi wonders what she should do. Parameswari tells Riddhi that they should not force Neel. Riddhi says she will tell Neel not to wear a saree. She adds she will convince Kanchan. Meanwhile, Neel calls Manjari, but Manjari ignores the call. He thinks Manjari must be with their parents. He wonders what he should do with this saree. He says he can wear a saree. He imagines himself wearing a saree and gets shocked.
