Episode begins with Sumati asks Neel whether he is hiding anything from her. Neel lies; he is not hiding anything. Manjari notices Neel’s fingers crossed and understands Neel lied. She wonders what Neel is hiding.
On the other hand, Simran selects outfits to wear for Riddhi’s marriage functions. She says she already knew something was going on between Neel and Riddhi. Vicky tauntingly tells her she doesn’t know what he feels for Riddhi. He reveals he loves Riddhi and wants to marry her. She gets shocked hearing this. He scolds her. Kamlesh comes there and tells Vicky that Neel and Riddhi’s marriage won’t happen. She says Kanchan won’t let this marriage happen because Neel doesn’t match Kanchan’s status. She adds Kanchan is planning something to close Neel’s chapter. Vicky asks whether Kanchan will agree to his and Riddhi’s marriage. Kamlesh says Kanchan will agree.
The next day, Neel recalls how Riddhi told him to come to her house with his family for a ritual. He learns that Gangadhar has a fever. He tells Sumati to take care of Gangadhar because he has to go for work. Sumati tells him to leave this job. She says they are facing problems from the time Neel met Kanchan and Riddhi. Neel tells her they need money. He assures her nothing will happen to him. He asks his parents to support him always. Sumati and Gangadhar promise to support Neel always. Neel goes out and tells thanks to Shashaank.
After some time, Neel enters Riddhi’s house and sees the function started. Kanchan says her future ghar jamai hasarrived. She welcomes Neel and hugs him. She asks him about his parents. Neel lies; his parents are busy with puja. Guest says Neel is handsome. Kanchan says Neel looks like he came for a job interview. She reveals she arranged a designer outfit for Neel. Neel sees Riddhi and goes inside.
Kanchan tells Neel that she doesn’t know his motive, but nothing is above money. She gives a blank check to him and tells him to leave Riddhi. She says Neel can change his family’s fate with this money. Neel thinks he needs money for his family; that’s why God is testing him like this. He accepts the check and leaves from there. Kanchan tells herself that she knew poor people would be like this.
Parameshwari says, Let’s begin the ritual. Kanchan comes there. Parameshwari asks Kanchan, Where is Neel? Kanchan says she showed the outfit to Neel, and he left. Simran says Neel is not anywhere in the house. Kanchan says Neel fled. She adds Neel is the kind of person who won’t take responsibility. Parameshwari gets panicked hearing this. Riddhi asks Parameshwari to sit. Neel comes there wearing a designer outfit. He goes to Riddhi and tells her he brought a gift for her. Parameshwari says Neel’s entry was like a hero entry. Neel gives a cheque to Riddhi. Parameshwari asks what the gift is. She sees the check. Riddhi looks at Kanchan.
