The episode begins with Tanushri saying Dadabhai is insulting Mishti by giving gift money to Jhanak only. Dadabhai tells her that Jhanak scored top even though she faced difficult situations; that’s why he is giving money to Jhanak to buy sweets. And he is not insulting Mishti in any way. Abhimanyu asks Tanushri to leave it because Dadabhai won’t understand. Dadabhai tells them that Mishti had privilege, yet her scores are less than Jhanak’s. So they should advise Mishti to learn from Jhanak. And Mishti is wasting her time with her friends instead of studying.
Dritimaan, congrats, Jhanak. Jhanak says she hopes she becomes a good doctor. Aditi says that’s why she brought Jhanak there. She asks Jhanak to share everything with her. Dritimaan asks Aditi whether she did not feel bad when police took Jhanak to the police station. Aditi tells him that they did not catch the real culprit yet. Rishi says he has information about the real culprit because he did an investigation. Aditi tells him that his investigation must be in Jhanak’s favor because Jhanak bought him. Rishi asks her to stop it.
Jhanak says she should not have come there. Aditi asks where Jhanak can go and stay. And Rishi will follow Jhanak wherever she goes. So Jhanak should stay in front of her and complete her studies. Jhanak says she won’t come in between Rishi and Aditi, like she said. Putul asks Jhanak to not give an explanation and go to college. Aditi tells Dritimaan that her jewelry got stolen, but she can’t say anything. Abhimanyu says they should know who the culprit is. Rishi says his father can’t tolerate the truth. Aditi asks why they are talking about it now when Aniruddh withdrew the case already.
Rishi says today is a special day for them because in the evening Sanjhbati’s family is coming to talk about Sanjhbati and Dritimaan’s marriage. Still, he wants to tell them something. He reveals Mishti put Aditi’s jewelry in Jhanak’s bag. Tanushri asks him how he can accuse Mishti to save Jhanak. Rishi tells her that he has proof. Tanushri says she knows her daughter won’t do anything like that. She asks him not to cross the limits. Rishi says Mishti is not alone in this and there is a mastermind behind this. Jhanak asks him to stop it. And why he is fighting for her. She says she has to leave the house if Rishi speaks anything else then. Dritimaan asks Rishi not to drag the matter. Rishi tells Aditi that he knows the truth and goes inside.
After some time, Aditi tells Rishi that she thinks he doesn’t trust her. So she should leave the house. Rishi tells her to leave if she wants to then. And he won’t force her to stay. Aditi asks him whether he wants her to leave. Rishi says he did not say anything like that. Aditi asks him whether he thinks she framed Jhanak. And says Rishi has been changed. Rishi tells her that Jhanak did not steal. And he did not want to talk about it. Aditi asks him to say it directly instead of accusing her indirectly. And why does Rishi suspect her? Rishi tells her that she is assuming and he did not take her name. Aditi asks him whether she is a criminal for him. She says she did nothing. Rishi asks her not to defend herself. Aditi asks him why she would have saved Jhanak if she framed Jhanak then. Rishi says he doesn’t want to talk about it.
Aditi tells Rishi that he doesn’t love her like earlier. Rishi tells her that his love for her never ceased. He asks her not to overthink and get sad. Jhanak overhears their conversation. Aditi tells Rishi that she wants him to focus on their future. And she wants to stay happily with Rishi. She says they should plan a baby. Jhanak thinks Rishi need not worry about her. Rishi tells Aditi that it’s not the right time to talk about all this. Aditi asks him whether she can’t become a mother. Rishi tells her that they will talk about it later. He says, “Let’s eat first.” They turn around and see Jhanak.
Aditi asks Jhanak, “What is this?” And why Jhanak did not knock on the door. Rishi asks why Jhanak was standing there. Aditi says Jhanak embarrasses her. And it’s wrong to listen to a husband and wife conversation. Jhanak tells Aditi that she was passing there. Aditi says there are personal moments that happen between husband and wife. Jhanak says she heard her name; that’s why she stood there to listen. She accepts she made a mistake, but why does Aditi always yell at her? Aditi says the culprit accuses the victim. She asks Rishi whether Jhanak did right for him. Jhanak defends herself. Rishi tells her that she should have come inside.
Jhanak says this is why she did not want to stay there. Rishi tells her that she knows why she is there. Aditi says Jhanak doesn’t have any other options to stay. Jhanak asks Aditi to not forget she has also done so much for the latter. She apologized to them for hearing their conversation. But the truth is she has nothing to do with them. She leaves from there. Aditi asks Rishi whether he saw Jhanak’s attitude. Rishi tells her that Jhanak knows why the latter brought Jhanak to this house. He leaves from there.
On the other side, Arshi asks Aniruddh why he did not tell her he withdrew the complaint. Aniruddh tells her that he did it for Aditi’s sake. And he did not have time to tell Arshi about it. He says Jhanak can’t harm him. Arshi tells him that he is confident about it because Jhanak is his daughter. Aniruddh tells her that she lost her mind. Arshi says she doesn’t want Jhanak in Aditi’s life. And they should get rid of Jhanak permanently.
Later, Sanjhbati reaches Chatterjee’s house with her family. Tanushri says she is happy everyone agreed to the marriage. Aditi says a grand wedding should happen. Putul asks whether Sanjhbati will continue her singing.
