The episode begins with Putul asks whether Sanjhbati will continue singing. Sanjhbati says Putul should begin her practice. Putul says she doesn’t feel like singing. Neelu says the important topic is marriage and honeymoon, not singing. She tells Dritimaan that let’s go for a family trip first. Payal says she is happy she got a member on her team.
Sanjhbati asks where Jhanak is. She tells Mishti to bring Jhanak. Neelu asks what the need is to bring an outsider when they are discussing a family matter. Tanushri says Jhanak behaves weird. Sanjhbati says she told her family about Jhanak, so they want to meet Jhanak. Dritimaan calls Jhanak. Jhanak comes there and hugs Sanjhbati. Sanjhbati introduces Jhanak to her family. She asks why Jhanak did not come out of the room to meet her. Jhanak asks what she can do when two families are talking. Sanjhbati says Jhanak is part of this family. Jhanak asks Sanjhbati to call her if the latter wants anything then. Sanjhbati asks Jhanak to stay there.
Jhanak goes inside and returns with snacks. She drops the water glasses and gets worried. Sanjhbati asks why Mishti did not help Jhanak. Aditi asks Jhanak why the latter brought so many plates. Kaka says it’s fine. Jhanak says she will clean everything. Neelu says Jhanak can’t do single work properly. Aditi tells Jhanak the latter should have been careful. Kaka asks them to leave that matter. He suggests doing the engagement on Sunday.
Indumati comes from the kitchen and scolds Jhanak. Mishti laughs hearing this. Jhanak asks whether Mishti is not ashamed. Mishti says Jhanak should be ashamed for such a mess always. Jhanak asks how Mishti can insult her. Mishti warns Jhanak not to talk to her like that. And she can throw Jhanak out of the house. Rishi asks Mishti to stop it. He says Mishti is wrong. Kaka asks them to not drag out the small matter. Rishi tells Jhanak to go inside.
Sanjhbati’s mother says it’s not good to treat Jhanak like a maid. Because Jhanak is a student, and she was the daughter-in-law of this Chatterjee family. Aditi says no one is treating Jhanak like a maid. And it’s not wrong to point out the mistakes of Jhanak. Dadabhai says let’s do engagement on Sunday. Kaka tells Jhanak to participate in all the rituals. Jhanak agrees.
The next day, Dritimaan and Sanjhbati return from shopping. Jhanak gets ready to make rangoli. Sanjhbati asks Jhanak to not give her rights to others. Jhanak asks Sanjhbati to leave that matter. Rishi comes there and asks what Dritimaan brought for him. Dritimaan says he brought gifts for everyone. Rishi asks why Jhanak looks upset. Jhanak replies she is fine. Sanjhbati says she brought an outfit for Jhanak too. She asks Jhanak to try it later. Jhanak says thanks to Sanjhbati and Dritimaan. Sanjhbati and Dritimaan go inside.
Rishi asks Jhanak what happened. Jhanak asks him why he is asking about her to her. She says Rishi should ask all this to Aditi. Rishi tells her that he understands she is angry because of yesterday’s incident. And Jhanak should have knocked on the door instead of listening to the couple’s conversation. Jhanak tells him that she is also human and everyone keeps insulting her. She says she already explained why she stood outside his room. Rishi tells her that he did not have any problem with her. Jhanak refuses to believe him. She says she wants to go to Simulboni after completing her studies as soon as possible. She asks him not to talk to her because there is no relationship between them.
Rishi asks her how she can say that. He says Jhanak knows there is a relationship between them. Jhanak tells him that he favored her; that’s it. Rishi asks her whether she is sure. Jhanak replies, “Whatever existed was a lie.” She says she is busy, so Rishi should not disturb her. She starts making rangoli. Rishi goes inside angrily. Jhanak cries and recalls the moments she spent with Rishi (the song “Tanha Sa Dil Hai Mera” plays in the background).
On the other side, Arshi tells Aniruddh about Sanjhbati and Dritimaan’s marriage. She says Sanjhbati is really smart. And she brought gifts for Sanjhbati and Dritimaan. Aniruddh tells her that gifts are nice. Arshi tells him that she heard Sanjhbati’s mother and Kaka having an extramarital affair, but the Chatterjee family doesn’t care about it. Aniruddh tells her that they can’t judge Sanjhbati based on her mother. He says Jhanak keeps blackmailing him, and if she goes to the media, then his business will suffer. And the truth is Jhanak is Parashar’s daughter, so why should he suffer? Arshi asks him what his plan is. Aniruddh tells her that something will happen tomorrow.
Arshi asks him to say something about his plan. Aniruddh says tomorrow an accident may happen and someone may die. Arshi gets excited hearing this. She asks whether Aditi will be safe. Aniruddh tells her that he already gave instructions so nothing will happen to Aditi. Arshi asks him whether he will end Jhanak’s chapter. Aniruddh tells her that he is trying to solve the problem.
Later, Dritimaan gives outfits to his family. Sanjhbati asks Rishi why he looks serious. Rishi replies he is fine. Indumati asks Dritimaan why he brought an expensive saree for her. Dadabhai says he already has many outfits. Dritimaan tells Putul to bring Jhanak. Tanushri tells him to give gifts to family first. Dritimaan says he wants to treat Jhanak like family. Putul leaves from there. Sanjhbati asks why Tanushri is upset. She says Jhanak was the daughter-in-law of this house. She asks Aditi to accept this truth. Aditi asks why she should accept it when marriage was forced on her. Sanjhbati says Aniruddh took Jhanak’s sign because marriage existed. Aditi says Sanjhbati knows everyone should face their life problems alone.
Putul asks Jhanak to come downstairs. Jhanak refuses. Putul drags Jhanak from there.
