The episode begins with Abhimanyu asking Rishi why the latter is late. Putul and Jhanak enter the house. Jhanak asks Putul what the need is to buy a new geometry box. Neelu asks Abhimanyu to understand why Rishi got late. Putul says Jhanak needs a geometry box; that’s why. Neelu says the geometry box seems expensive. Abhimanyu asks Rishi when the latter will stop social service. He says first Rishi hired an expensive lawyer for Jhanak and now expensive things. He taunts Rishi for giving statements against family.
Putul asks why Rishi should keep quiet when Aniruddh tried to kill Jhanak. Tanushri asks Putul to shut up. Because there is no proof that Aniruddh tried to kill Jhanak. Rishi tells her mother that court will decide that. Tanushri asks Rishi whether he will drag her to court if Jhanak accuses her in the future. Abhimanyu says Rishi will do anything for Jhanak.
Jhanak tells Putul that she already said she can use the old geometry box. Putul says this is not an expensive one. And Jhanak needs one for tomorrow’s exam. Rishi says Jhanak did not get time to study. He calls Aniruddh “Aditi’s Baap.” Tanushri scolds him for that. She asks this: this is the upbringing that he got from them. Abhimanyu says it’s the effort of Jhanak’s company. Rishi apologized to his parents for that. He tells Jhanak to go and study.
Neelu says Jhanak has not done any housework since morning, so she has to do it. She tells Jhanak to wash the utensils. Rishi tells her that Jhanak has an exam tomorrow. Neelu tells him that that’s not her concern. And Jhanak can’t stay there for free. Jhanak says she will do housework. Putul asks Jhanak not to do that. Rishi asks whether it’s okay if anyone behaves like this with Mishti. Neelu says Mishti is Chatterjee, not a maid. Rishi asks her what she is saying.
Neelu says Jhanak can go and study if she is fine with eating food freely then. And maybe this is what Jhanak learned from her mother. Jhanak gets angry hearing this. And she warns Neelu to not talk about Nutan. Neelu pretends like she is scared of Jhanak. Then she laughs. She says she will talk about Nutan whenever she wants and about what Jhanak can do. Tanushri tells Neelu to leave it. Abhimanyu tells Neelu to let Jhanak study tonight. Neelu asks them not to sympathize with Jhanak. Because Jhanak-kind of girls are really dangerous for reputable families. And Jhanak is a manipulative girl. Jhanak says she will complete housework before going to her room. Because she won’t eat free food. She goes to the kitchen.
Later, Jhanak keeps food on the plate. Neelu comes there and says she will give this food plate to Rishi. Rishi comes there and tells Neelu that he will take it. He asks Jhanak whether she ate. Jhanak replies she is not hungry. Rishi forces her to eat. He says Jhanak has not eaten anything since morning. He notices food is over. Neelu tells Jhanak to go and study. Rishi tells Jhanak to eat before leaving. Jhanak asks him to not give his food to her. Neelu makes Jhanak fall down. And Rishi also falls down in that process along with the food plate. Jhanak runs from there. Rishi asks Neelu what she did. Neelu replies she did nothing and leaves from there.
On the other side, Aditi asks Anjana whether the latter treated Nutan like her daughter. They hear Arshi’s scream and go to her room. Arshi asks Aniruddh why he is telling her to keep quiet. Aditi asks Arshi what happened. Arshi tells Aditi that Bablu is talking nonsense. Bablu says he won’t tolerate all this. Anjana asks him to calm down. Bablu decides to leave the house. Aditi asks him not to say it like that. Anjana takes Bablu from there. Aditi follows them and asks them what’s the matter. Bablu says he doesn’t understand this new Aniruddh.
Meanwhile, Rishi goes to Jhanak’s room with food. Jhanak asks him why he brought food when she said she is not hungry. Rishi asks him whether Nutan would have let her stay hungry. Jhanak tells him that Nutan is her mother. And who is Rishi for her? Rishi reminds her that she said she loves him. Jhanak says she remembers that, but she also said her love won’t succeed. Rishi says, “Let’s celebrate Christmas.” He keeps cake on the table and makes her wear a cap. Jhanak cut the cake. Then she eats food. She is about to fall down, so Rishi tries to hold her, and they fall down. They share an eye lock.
Tanushri comes there and screams Rishi’s name. She asks Rishi what this is. Rishi tells her that he can explain. Tanushri tells him that she can see everything. She asks him whether he has become shameless. Rishi tells her that he came to give food to Jhanak—that’s it. Tanushri removes the cap from Jhanak’s head. She tauntingly asks if this is how one eats food. Jhanak tells Rishi that she told him not to do this. Tanushri tells Jhanak to shut up. She asks if this is how Jhanak is studying.
