Jhanak 26th January 2026 Written Update on SerialGossip.in
The episode begins with Jhanak getting worried seeing Rishi’s bruises. They watch the breaking news and learn Indranath is still unconscious. Ankush says if Indranath regains consciousness, then Jhanak and Rishi will die.
In the hospital, Banumati asks the nurse about Jhanak. The nurse replies, “Jhanak left for home.” Banumati asks why Indranath has not regained his consciousness yet when the surgery is not a serious one. And where is Ankush? Staff replies he doesn’t know where Ankush is now. Banumati asks why Ankush is not with Indranath in this situation. She tells him to tell Ankush to call her.
Later, Jhanak wonders why Indranath has not regained his consciousness yet when she did not give dangerous medicine to him. She thinks this is the best chance to leave from there. She tells Ankush that Indranath did not regain his consciousness because she completed his work. She requests him to let her and Rishi go. Ankush laughs. He asks whether he is looking like Mad. He says they will expose him if he releases them then. Jhanak asks him whether he will keep them like this forever. Ankush says not forever, but he has to keep them with him for now. Jhanak asks him how he can try to kill the person who did the latter’s upbringing. Ankush warns her to shut up.
On the other side, Aditi and her parents watch the breaking news of Indranath. And they learn Jhanak is not in the hospital. Arshi says she wants to go to Chatterjee’s house. Aditi says she doesn’t have strength for more drama. Arshi says Aditi has the right to do this. Aniruddh says he will accompany them. Arshi refuses to take Aniruddh with her. She leaves from there with Aditi.
The police inspector tells DIG that they searched everywhere in that area except Indranath’s house. DIG says Rishi’s disappearance looks like a mystery. And they have a search warrant, so let’s search Indranath’s house too. He takes his phone from his pocket. Jhanak’s letter falls out of his pocket, and he reads that letter. He shows the letter to the police inspector. He says they don’t have time. They leave from there.
The doctor informs Banumati that Indranath regained his consciousness. The chief minister comes to meet Indranath. He asks Indranath to take rest and recover soon. Indranath says he is glad the chief minister came to see him. He gives thanks to the chief minister. The chief minister asks Banumati not to worry and leaves from there. Banumati tells Indranath that she is glad the surgery became successful. She says Ankush left the hospital after getting information about Indranath. Indranath says Ankush is not there still. So something is fishy, definitely. He tells her that Jhanak was looking scared. Banumati tells him that Jhanak must have left for home. Indranath tells her to ask Nurse about Jhanak.
Jhanak and Rishi learn Indranath regained his consciousness. Rishi tells Jhanak that he is glad. Jhanak tells him that she did not want Indranath to die because of her. She says Indranath is a really good person. Ankush comes there and says Indranath is the killer. He tells her that she will be punished for supporting a killer. Rishi warns Ankush not to touch Jhanak. Ankush asks what Rishi can do. Rishi asks Ankush to untie him. Ankush slaps Rishi. He asks Jhanak to see how it feels to see a loved one dying in front of her.
Jhanak asks him to not harm Rishi. Ankush tells her that he already warned her that Rishi will die if she doesn’t complete his work then. And Jhanak will be punished now. He aims the gun at Rishi. He asks what Rishi’s last wish is. Jhanak asks him to leave Rishi. Ankush’s man holds Jhanak. Rishi asks Ankush to untie him, and let’s see who dies. Ankush says Jhanak ruined his plan, so Rishi will die definitely. He says goodbye to Rishi. He says betrayers should die.
Jhanak screams Rishi’s name after hearing a shooting sound. Ankush notices DIG and police officers are there. He scolds Jhanak for betraying him. DIG orders Ankush to drop the gun. Ankush says he will decide what he wants to do. Rishi asks Ankush to stop it. Jhanak tells Ankush that his game is over. Ankush scolds her for not killing Indranath. Jhanak says she studied medicine to save people, not kill anyone.
DIG orders Ankush to surrender himself. Ankush says he is not scared to die. Jhanak asks him to worry about the consequences of his actions. Ankush tells her that she talks so much. Jhanak pushes his hand, and he drops the gun in that process. Police arrest Ankush and his men. DIG says Ankush’s game is over. Ankush says he doesn’t regret his actions. And he will return. Police take Ankush and his men from there. DIG unties Rishi. He praises Jhanak. Jhanak says thanks to DIG. DIG leaves from there. Jhanak tells Rishi that everything is fine now. Rishi gives thanks to Jhanak for saving everyone’s life. He says, “Let’s go.” Jhanak helps him because he could not walk.
In the Chatterjee house, Arshi says husband and wife can’t get broke easily. Indumati agrees with Arshi. Aditi asks whether Jhanak is also coming there. Tanushri says police said they are bringing Jhanak and Rishi. Aditi says Jhanak will tell a story. Arshi says Rishi will agree with Jhanak. Dadabhai says police will reveal the truth. Aditi says she came for Rishi, but he won’t like her presence. Rishi and Jhanak come there with the police inspector. Tanushri asks Rishi how he is. Everyone notices injured Rishi.

Precap: Rishi announces Jhanak saved his life. He says Aditi wants to control him, and she doesn’t trust him. He tells Aditi that he wants a divorce from her.
Our Take: Jhanak and Rishi get rescued due to Jhanak’s letter. Ankush gets arrested too. Rishi demands a divorce from Aditi because he wants to marry Jhanak. But he will blame Aditi for his decision. Jhanak won’t stop Rishi because she is ready to marry Rishi. And she loves Rishi shamelessly even though he is a married man now.
What will be Aditi’s decision? Will Arshi tell Aditi to divorce Rishi?
