The episode begins with Dadabhai asking Jhanak about her family members. Jhanak replies she was living with her mother and Dadi. Indumati asks how Nutan sent Jhanak when she is a single child. Jhanak says everyone came to this world alone. She asks them not to worry because she will do all the household chores. Payal asks whether Jhanak can stay there without her mother. Jhanak says she can manage there.
Indumati asks whether Jhanak’s father doesn’t have any problem with this. Tanushree asks whether Jhanak’s father is alive. Jhanak says she never saw her father, and she heard her father left her before she was born. Indumati tells Jhanak to leave all that and focus on working. Tanushree says many people live there, so Jhanak should do everyone’s work. Jhanak says she will do it because she came to work.
Payal says Jhanak is a really courageous girl because Rishi is an angry young man, so not everyone can talk to him easily. Jhanak tells a fake story to them. Dadabhai asks how Nutan sent unmarried Jhanak to the city for work when young girls get married in the village. Rishi hears this and thinks his family can’t handle the big truth. He decides to tell the truth to Aditi first. He tells Tanushree that he is going out. Tanushree tells him he did right by bringing Jhanak there. Rishi tells her Jhanak came there forcefully. He tells Jhanak to do work because she came for there only. He leaves from there.
In the restaurant, Aditi thinks Rishi’s absence made her realize how important he is to her. Rishi comes there and hugs Aditi. He recalls how he got married to Jhanak. Aditi says Rishi got injured; that’s why he did not pick up her call. Rishi wonders how to tell the truth to Aditi. Aditi asks him what’s bothering him. Rishi tells her he wants to say something. Aditi assumes Rishi wants to tell her about his mission. She tells him Smita’s cousin went to the village and fell in love with a village girl and got married. Rishi asks her what happened next. Aditi tells him they settled in Delhi. She says she thought the same thing happened with Rishi too, and she was scared. Rishi thinks the first time he is hiding something from Aditi, but he will tell the truth to her one day. Aditi tells him she trusts him and she knows no one will come into his life except her.
In the kitchen, Jhanak feels sleepy while cleaning the utensils. Then she falls asleep. Meanwhile, Dadabhai tells Indumati that he is hungry. Abhimanyu tells them he hired a cook. Dadabhai says they already have a maid, so what’s the need of a cook? Indumati tells him they don’t know how Jhanak cooks. She says they need both a maid and a cook. She adds, Food is ready. Tanushree goes to the kitchen and sees Jhanak sleeping. She wakes Jhanak up. She asks Jhanak to eat something and sleep. She takes Jhanak to the hall and tells her family that Jhanak slept in the kitchen. Jhanak says she is scared of punishment. Dadabhai says Jhanak will get punishment for sure. Indumati says Jhanak should serve them, and that’s her punishment. She asks Jhanak to clean the kitchen too.
In the village, Sakhi takes Prakash to Nutan. Nutan tells Prakash about Jhanak’s forced marriage. Prakash thinks he loves Jhanak so much, but God sent her from the village. Nutan asks him whether he knows where Parashar is. Prakash says Parashar is like his father, and he knows where Parashar is. He refuses to tell about Parashar’s location. Sakhi tells Prakash to tell Parashar about Jhanak. Prakash asks Nutan not to worry. He leaves from there.
Later, Ishani calls Nutan and tells her about Jeet’s return. Nutan asks how Jeet can do that. Ishani tells Nutan that Shashvat threw her out of the house because of Jeet’s lies. She says even Ambika hates her. She adds she wants Nutan’s help in finding a job. Nutan tells Ishani that everything changed in her life. She reveals Jhanak’s marriage. Ishani says she will find Jhanak because she is in Kolkata. She adds Jhanak is like her daughter. Nutan says she will inform Ishani after finding Jhanak’s address. She says she will support Ishani always. Ishani says she is glad to hear this. Ambika comes there and scolds Ishani. She tells Ishani to compromise with Shashvat. Ishani refuses.
