The episode begins with Rishi telling Jhanak to pack her bag and go to her village. He says Jhanak will get money for the work she did till now. Jhanak asks him whether she ever talked about money to him. Dadabhai scolds Jhanak for arguing after doing wrong. Abhimanyu says Jhanak should not have done that. He adds they would have ended up in a problem if anything had happened to Jhanak then. Jhanak murmurs it would have been good if she had died. Rishi tells her to stop her nonsense and do whatever she wants to do in her village. Jhanak asks him whether he wants her to die. Rishi asks her when he said it like that. Jhanak agrees to go to her village.
Dadabhai says Jhanak consumed sleeping pills, so let her take a rest. Rishi tauntingly says Jhanak takes rest only always. Jhanak says she does work before eating and taking a rest. Payal says Jhanak is a maid, so it’s obvious the latter will do work. Jhanak tells Rishi that she is a maid and she did not tell anything to anyone. Dadabhai asks her what she is saying. Rishi tells Dadabhai to ignore Jhanak. Jhanak tells him that she tells stories, not lies.
Indumati asks why Jhanak is arguing after doing wrong with Aniruddh. She asks what if Rishi and Aditi’s marriage gets cancelled. Jhanak asks why that will happen when Rishi and Aditi love each other truly. Rishi tells her to stop talking nonsense and go pack her bag. Abhimanyu tells Rishi, Let’s forgive Jhanak this time. He says Aniruddh did not get offended, so let’s give another chance to Jhanak. Rishi opposes Abhimanyu. He says he will see whether any bus is available today.
Jhanak tells him that he got a chance to throw her out of the house, so he won’t lose this chance. She says she is not scared just because Rishi is a police officer. Tanushri tells Jhanak to keep quiet. Payal asks why Jhanak keeps arguing. Jhanak tells them she thought Aniruddh was a thief; that’s why she did that. She says she will leave tomorrow and goes inside. Indumati tells Rishi to let Jhanak stay there until his marriage. Abhimanyu says Jhanak is a good person, and she will learn everything slowly. Dadabhai agrees with them. Rishi goes inside angrily.
Meanwhile, Arshi asks Aniruddh what happened in Rishi’s house. Aniruddh reveals everything. Arshi asks how Jhanak ended up in Rishi’s house. Aditi tells them Rishi brought a maid from Simulboni. Aniruddh recalls his last moments with Jhanak in Simulboni. He says Jhanak looked like a village girl. Arshi gets worried hearing this. Aniruddh says Jhanak’s character was interesting.
In the village, Parashar asks Nutan why she looks sad. Nutan tells him that she is worried about Jhanak. Parashar tells her that he will take her to Kolkata. Nutan says she is scared that Rishi accepted Jhanak as his wife or not. She adds Jhanak is a naive girl, and it won’t be easy for her to survive in the city.
Putul gives the application form to her father. Dadabhai asks Jhanak to give him the newspaper. Jhanak reads the headline. Everyone gets shocked learning Jhanak can read English. Tanushri asks Jhanak whether the latter went to school. Jhanak replies she came first in her school. Dadabhai asks her why she came to work, leaving her studies.
Aniruddh calls Anjana, but there is no response from the other side. Arshi asks him not to panic because Anjana’s phone must be on silent mode. Aditi tells Aniruddh that she will try. Arshi says Anjana is irresponsible. Aniruddh tells her to stop talking nonsense. Aditi tells them to calm down. Anjana and Bablu return.
Nutan asks Parashar whether Rishi’s house is near Bhavanipur. Parashar tells her that she still wants to live with Aniruddh. He asks her why she still wants Aniruddh when he did everything for her. Nutan tells him that he is wrong. Parashar tauntingly accepts he was blind in love. Nutan asks him to not hurt her because she can’t tolerate this. Parashar tells her that he will keep his promise. He says Nutan can live with Aniruddh in Bhavanipur. Nutan cries. Parashar asks her to erase his name from her life and leaves from there.
Rishi comes downstairs. Dadabhai tells Rishi that Jhanak can read English. Indumati asks Jhanak’s educational qualifications. Jhanak replies she was studying 12th standard. Dadabhai says he will take responsibility for Jhanak’s studies. Jhanak gets happy hearing this. Dadabhai says Mishti is also studying 12th standard. Rishi tells Dadabhai that there is no need to do this. He says Jhanak came to the city to do work, not study. He adds Jhanak can study in her village. Jhanak tells him she wants to study. She says she will become a burden if she doesn’t continue her studies then. She cries.
