The episode begins with Jhanak saying she has the right to study in that college by staying in the hostel. Aayush says they need an answer, and they won’t tolerate injustice. A student tries to stop the protest on Dean’s behest by using bombs. Students get scared and run from there. Rishi comes there with his team. Aayush tells Jhanak that it’s not safe for her to stay there. Rishi sees Aayush holding Jhanak’s hand. He asks Jhanak where she is running. He glares at Aayush. He asks Jhanak whether she is fine.
Protest continues. Jhanak tells journalists that she is not there to do politics and she is demanding her basic rights. She tells Mythiri thanks for supporting her. And she feels like she committed a crime by dreaming of becoming a doctor. Students chant, “Jhanak has the right to dream.” Jhanak says she studied hard and got good scores in 12th Standard and the NEET exam. So why can’t she fulfill her dream? Rishi hopes Jhanak’s dream gets fulfilled.
Jhanak says few city people treated her like she was a stranger, which hurt her. She asks why she won’t get a hostel room. She says her mother died recently, and her father is alive, but he never accepted her and her mother. She asks what crime she committed by asking for a hostel room. And why Dean misused his power and removed her name from the hostel list. She tells them she has no one in Kolkata, and she was forced to get the local guardian’s signature. So she arranged that somehow. She asks why she can’t get the opportunity to stay in the hostel. Aayush chants they need answers. Students join Aayush.
The education minister watches the news. She asks PA to call the dean of that college. PA calls Dean and gives the phone to the education minister. The education minister asks Dean what’s happening in his college. Dean tells her that he could not allot a hostel room because there is no room available. The education minister orders him to give the hostel room to Jhanak and announce that in front of journalists. She says she wants Jhanak’s contact number and disconnects the call.
Dean thinks he should not have listened to Aniruddh and Arshi. And he may lose his job because of this issue. He goes out and requests students to calm down. He apologizes to Jhanak and says Jhanak misunderstood. He announces he allotted hostel room number 9 to Jhanak. Jhanak gets happy hearing this. Students clap.
Jhanak goes aside and picks up the PA of the education minister’s call. She learns the education minister wants to meet her and gets worried. She tells Rishi that the education minister wants to meet her. Rishi tells her that he will accompany her. Jhanak tells him there is no need for that. Mishti sees them talking. She decides to tell everything to Aditi.
Jhanak tells Rishi that she doesn’t want him to face problems in his house. Rishi asks her to not think about that. Jhanak tells thanks to him for helping her again. Rishi tells her that he will take her to the education minister’s office. Jhanak asks him why he is doing all this for her when there is no relationship between them. Rishi tells her that he can’t explain their relationship to her. He says he can’t make Jhanak realize her importance in his life.
Dean praises Jhanak in front of journalists. He asks students to focus on studies and become good doctors. He tells them to meet him if they face any issue then. He requests them to stop the protest. The student union leader stops the protest. Students clap.
Meanwhile, Aditi watches the news of protests and bomb blasts. She asks Neelu to call Mishti. Neelu calls Mishti, but there is no response from the other side. Aditi says they should inform Rishi. She calls Rishi, but there is no response from the other side. Neelu tells Putul everything. Aditi hopes Mishti is fine. She watches the news completely. Neelu blames Jhanak for the bomb blast. Aditi gets worried about Mishti.
Jhanak tells Aayush that she has to meet the education minister. Aayush tells her that he will take her to the education minister’s office because she is new there. Rishi tells Aayush that he will take Jhanak to the education minister’s office. Jhanak asks Aayush to not worry about her. And she tells him thanks for all the help. She leaves from there with Rishi. Rishi asks her why Aayush is behind her. He says Jhanak should be careful. Jhanak asks him why it matters for him.
