The episode begins with Jhanak feeling bad that she could not give food to Sakhi and Dhamu when they came to Kolkata for her. Dhamu tells her that he is habituated to staying hungry, so he is fine. Sakhi asks Jhanak not to worry because this sacrifice is nothing in front of Jhanak’s dream. Dhamu says he is excited to see Jhanak in a doctor’s coat. Jhanak says she will achieve her dream one day, definitely. Sakhi says Jhanak should buy a bungalow and car to show Rishi’s family that she is not less than them.
Jhanak says Aniruddh will come to her to accept him as a father one day. But she won’t accept him and tells him to live with Aditi only. Dhamu says Aniruddh did not accept Jhanak for Aditi’s sake. Sakhi says Nutan was unlucky to love Aniruddh. And Aniruddh never defends Jhanak. Jhanak says she will take revenge for her insults and Nutan’s insults. And the truth will come out one day, definitely.
On the other side, Aniruddh asks Arshi whether she is sure the principal will do their job. Arshi replies that the principal is capable of doing that. But if the principal failed, then she knew what she should do. Aniruddh says he is relieved seeing her confidence. Arshi asks him whether he is not feeling bad that they are ruining his daughter’s life. Aniruddh tells her that Jhanak is not his daughter. Arshi tells him that he claimed Nutan never lies. She asks him why he doesn’t trust Nutan now.
Aniruddh asks her whether she wants him to say he regrets trusting Nutan in the past. He says he doesn’t have proof, but he knows Jhanak is not his daughter. Arshi asks him what if it turns out Jhanak is his daughter. Aniruddh tells her that if that turns out true, then it won’t be good for her. Arshi says Nutan is Aniruddh’s first wife, so Jhanak has rights to all of his property. And Aditi won’t get anything. Aniruddh asks her to stop talking nonsense. Arshi asks him what if Jhanak proves she is his daughter. Aniruddh tells her that no one can snatch Aditi’s rights from her. And he doesn’t want to talk about Jhanak because he is facing problems due to her.
Meanwhile, Dadabhai picks up a call, but no one speaks from the other side. He says hello, but the call gets disconnected. Indumati asks him who called him. Dadabhai shows the caller ID to her. Indumati gets emotional seeing Ridhiman’s name. She asks him to call on that number again. Dadabhai calls on that number, but there is no response from the other side. Putul comes there and asks what happened. Indumati tells everything to Putul.
Putul asks them not to worry because Ridhiman will return one day. Dadabhai says he just wants to know whether Ridhiman is fine or not. Indumati says Ridhiman won’t come. And she doesn’t have any hope because he never talked to them after going to the US. Putul says they don’t know what Ridhiman’s situation is. And she trusts Ridhiman will return. Indumati says she wants to talk about Arvind. Putul refuses to talk about him. Indumati asks Putul not to get angry. Putul says they know what Arvind did with it. And Arvind doesn’t deserve forgiveness, so she won’t go to him. Indumati says she is feeling bad that Putul is sad. Dadabhai says he thought Arvind would come to take Putul, but he was wrong. Putul says she is not ready for divorce for now because they need money for that. And she will file for divorce after getting a job.
In the college, committee members discuss whether they should give a room in the hostel to Jhanak or not. The head of the committee says they should not give a hostel room to Jhanak because she has her local guardian in Kolkata, so she can stay in the guardian’s house. Others say Jhanak deserves to get a hostel room. The head of the committee refuses to change his decision.
Rishi comes there and says he brought food for them. Jhanak asks him why he brought food for them. Rishi tells them they are his guests; that’s why. Jhanak asks him to not help them anymore. She says she doesn’t want to repeat the mistake of Nutan. And she won’t stay in the flat tomorrow, because she doesn’t want anyone to question her character. Rishi asks her to not misunderstand him. Jhanak tells him that she is not saying he is wrong or bad. She says she knows Aditi doesn’t know that Rishi is there. Moreover, one can’t stand in two boats, and Rishi chose his boat already.
