The episode begins with Rishi informing Jhanak that he is going to meet a lawyer to talk about divorce. And it’s a mutual one, so Aditi will come too. Jhanak tells him that Aditi is in pain, so she can’t hold his hands. Rishi says Aniruddh said Aditi liked someone else. Jhanak tells him that maybe Aditi is testing him. She asks him whether he would have decided to divorce Aditi if he had never met her then. Rishi tells her that he can’t give an answer to that. He says he loves Jhanak now and wants to marry her. Jhanak tells him that she is scared of the blame. Rishi asks her to not worry about what society says. And this is what God wants; that’s why it’s happening. He says maybe they were destined to meet. Jhanak asks him to think about divorce once again because it’s not an easy thing. Rishi refuses to change his decision. He says Jhanak is not responsible for his and Aditi’s problem.
On the other side, Arshi asks Aditi whether the papers are ready. Aditi replies yes. Aniruddh says they will accompany Aditi. Aditi tells them she wants to go alone. Arshi asks what if Rishi brings Jhanak there. Aditi says Rishi said he is coming alone. Aniruddh tells Aditi that his love for her won’t change. And Aditi took the right decision, so he will support her always. He asks her not to worry about society. Aditi nods at him. Aniruddh thinks he knows this is not easy for Aditi. But it’s good for both Aditi and Jhanak. Aditi thinks she loved Rishi deeply, but her destiny did not let her live with him.
Meanwhile, Rishi informs his family that he is going to meet a lawyer for a divorce. Tanushri says Rishi is getting instigated by Jhanak. Rishi tells her that even Aditi wants a divorce. Indumati asks what Aditi can do when her husband is having an extramarital affair with Jhanak. Jhanak says she already tried to stop Rishi. Neelu asks Jhanak to stop this drama. Abhimanyu says Jhanak is provoking Rishi against Aditi but pretends to be innocent.
Tanushri tells Rishi that he can’t go anywhere. Payal tells Rishi that Aditi is a really good girl and that Aditi always supported him. So how can Rishi leave Aditi for Jhanak? She says Rishi is becoming disloyal and ungrateful. Rishi tells them that this decision will give happiness to him and Aditi. And it’s a mutual one. Mishti asks him how it can be mutual. She reminds him that he hid from Aditi that he got married to Jhanak. And asks him to think how he would have reacted if he was in Aditi’s place. Rishi remains silent. Mishti says Rishi doesn’t have any answer. Jhanak tells Rishi that Mishti is right. Rishi tells her that he wants her support.
Tanushri says Rishi loved Aditi for many years, and he married Aditi when he knew his marriage already happened with Jhanak. So how can he leave Aditi now for Jhanak? And Rishi is doing injustice to Aditi. She tells Rishi that she won’t accept Jhanak, ever. Mishti says she won’t respect Rishi if he divorces Aditi then. Rishi says it is getting late. Jhanak asks him to think once again. Rishi says he won’t back off. Tanushri says Aditi got worried about Rishi; that’s why Aditi came to the house. Indumati says men can’t understand women’s pain. Tanushri tells Rishi that he can’t go anywhere today. She says she is showing the right path to Rishi. She tells Abhimanyu to call Aditi.
Abhimanyu calls Aditi and puts the phone on speaker. But no response from Aditi. He calls Aniruddh. And Aniruddh picks up the call. Abhimanyu says he wants to talk to Aditi. Aniruddh tells Abhimanyu that talking time is over. Tanushri asks Aniruddh to understand the matter. Abhimanyu tells Aditi that she is his daughter-in-law and he will talk to Rishi. He asks her to forget about divorce.
Aditi tells Abhimanyu and Tanushri that they treated her like a daughter. She asks how she can stay with Rishi when he is claiming he loves someone else and he wants a divorce. She says Rishi chose Jhanak, and he should have done this earlier instead of torturing her. And Rishi doesn’t deserve to stay there. She tells Abhimanyu that she can’t stay with Rishi because Rishi doesn’t value her. That’s why she agreed to a mutual divorce.
Aniruddh tells Abhimanyu that Aditi won’t change her decision. And Rishi can live with Jhanak if Rishi wants to. He says both his daughters should not get hurt. Tanushri says she understands Aditi got betrayed without doing anything wrong. And they can talk about it calmly. Abhimanyu says they will find any other way than divorce. He tells Aditi that she did nothing wrong, so he will talk to Rishi. Aniruddh says matter is about Rishi, Aditi, and Jhanak’s happiness now. Tanushri tells Aditi that their relationship will end too. Aditi says she doesn’t care what Rishi does after divorce. And she wants to focus on herself. She disconnects the call.
Rishi leaves from the house. Tanushri tells Jhanak that she won’t accept the latter as a daughter-in-law of this house no matter what. Neelu says Jhanak will suffer so much. Putul asks Jhanak to give time to everyone. Jhanak recalls Aniruddh’s words and wonders what he wants.

Precap: Aditi and Rishi sign on the documents. Rishi sees Aditi leaving with Koushik. He thinks it was many years, and still Aditi did not think to wait for him.
Our Take: Aditi chooses her self-respect, and she decides to divorce Rishi. Rishi’s parents try to convince Rishi to change his decision. But Rishi refuses. Mishti points out Rishi’s lie made Aditi take this decision. And she is right because all the problems started when Rishi lied to Aditi about his marriage with Jhanak. Rishi’s parents try to convince Aditi but fail. Aditi tells them she can’t stay with the person who chose someone else. And she is right.
