The episode begins with Jhanak asks Rishi why it matters for him even if Aayush is her close friend. Rishi tauntingly tells her to make friends instead of studying. He says it’s not necessary; all the guys are good ones. He asks her why she did not reject Aayush’s help. Jhanak asks him why she should reject Aayush’s help. She asks what their relationship is and why it matters for him. Rishi recalls their marriage. He asks her whether she doesn’t know about their relationship.
Jhanak replies she doesn’t know. She says it doesn’t matter to her when Rishi talks to Aditi. Rishi tells her that he is not mahaan like her. He asks her to focus on studies only. And he won’t let anyone come in between her and her studies. He decides to keep an eye on Jhanak and tells her about it. Jhanak laughs. She asks him whether he has free time to keep an eye on her. She understands he is jealous and smiles.
Rishi asks her whether he said a joke. Jhanak tells him that she is feeling special. She says she does not understand why Rishi is jealous. She asks him whether he gets jealous of Aditi too. Rishi asks her to stop it. Jhanak tells him that she wants to know. Rishi tells her that he doesn’t know why he is feeling this for her. They share an eye lock. Jhanak reminds him that the education minister is waiting for her.
On the other side, Putul calls Jhanak, but there is no response from the other side. She gets worried about Jhanak and hopes Jhanak is fine. Aditi and Neelu come there. Neelu says Putul acted like she didn’t know about Jhanak’s college. Putul tells them that they are worried about Mishti only. Neelu tells Putul that Mishti is their sister and Jhanak is no one to them. Putul says she is worried about Jhanak, and Jhanak is alone in Kolkata. She asks them not to create an issue just because she called Jhanak. Aditi says Jhanak ruined her life, but Putul supports Jhanak. Putul asks Aditi not to cross the limits.
Aditi says she knows Putul wants to bring Jhanak there. Neelu says Putul failed to save her marriage; that doesn’t mean she will try to ruin others’ marriages too. Putul asks why Neelu is defending Aditi so much. Aditi asks why Neelu can’t support her when Putul can support Jhanak. Neelu tells Aditi that it’s a waste of time to talk to Putul. Putul goes inside. Aditi tells Neelu that she will leave the house if Putul or Dadabhai brings Jhanak there. Neelu says Aditi need not leave her own house.
Meanwhile, Jhanak meets the education minister and thanks the latter. She says she got a hostel room because of the education minister. The education minister asks Jhanak to call her if the latter faces any issue then. She asks who came with Jhanak. Jhanak tells the education minister about Rishi. The education minister calls Rishi inside. Rishi tells her that he is the local guardian of Jhanak. The education minister asks her what happened in the college. Rishi tells her everything. He says few people don’t want Jhanak to study in Kolkata. The education minister says she wants to know more details. She asks Jhanak whether the latter suspects anyone. Jhanak shook her head. She thinks she cares about her studies only. Rishi tells the education minister that he will submit an investigation report.
Mishti enters her house. She says Jhanak started protesting because she did not get a hostel room. And Rishi came there with his team. Aditi asks Mishti whether Rishi talked to Jhanak. Mishti replies she doesn’t know. She says Rishi took Jhanak in his car. Aditi gets shocked hearing this. Mishti says the education minister got involved in this matter, so Jhanak got a hostel room. Aditi says she is not understanding why Rishi is doing all this. Mishti says she thinks Rishi took Jhanak to the education minister. Aditi agrees with Mishti. Aditi asks Putul not to interfere in her matters. Putul says she supports Jhanak because Jhanak is alone. And Aditi is insecure. Tanushri asks Putul not to treat her family like this for Jhanak. Putul says she is not interested in nonsense discussion and goes inside. Aditi says her marriage will end soon and goes inside.
The education minister asks Jhanak about her parents. Jhanak says her mother is dead and her father did not accept her. The education minister tells her to become a good doctor. Jhanak agrees.
