The episode begins with Jhanak giving her name for the debate and dance. Mishti and her friends give their names on the dance. The teacher asks Mishti to take Jhanak with them. Mishti replies her group is set already. The teacher asks whether Jhanak can perform solo. Srishti says Thilothama got dance training from Arshi, so Jhanak can’t even stand against the latter. The teacher tells them Arshi will come tomorrow. She asks Jhanak not to dance because the latter can’t dance in city style.
Jhanak assures the teacher that she will definitely learn the city dance style. Thilothama asks whether Jhanak knows all types of dance forms. Aayush asks them to give a chance to Jhanak in the group. Mishti refuses. Jhanak agrees to not give her name on the dance. And she will participate in the debate only. A senior student comes there and asks students to do well because they invited the education minister. Mishti tells him they are ready. She taunts Jhanak for trying to participate in both dance and debate.
Aayush asks Mishti to give her name on more than one performance if she wants. A senior student tells them to give their best because Saanjh is coming tomorrow. And seniors will perform too. He reveals in the end they will receive awards for best performances. The teacher tells Aayush to finalize the list and give it to her.
A senior student asks Jhanak whether she is upset because she can’t give her name on the dance. Jhanak tells him that she will focus on debate, so it’s fine. Mishti tells Jhanak to try next year after learning dance. Thilothama says she has been dancing since she was a kid. She asks whether Jhanak learned dancing. Jhanak shook her head. Thilothama asks if Jhanak even knows what an auditorium is. Senior student tells them to focus on their performance.
Jhanak leaves from there. Mishti follows Jhanak and stops the latter. She says Jhanak can’t dance to their level, and Jhanak can’t learn it all in a single day either. She asks Jhanak to stop thinking she can top in everything. Jhanak says she said she won’t dance and will participate in the debate only. Mishti says Jhanak can’t do well in debate either. Jhanak asks why Mishti cares about her. She says judges will decide what she can do.
Thilothama asks Jhanak not to talk like this in front of them. Jhanak says she is also a student like them, so why can’t she talk like this? She asks them why they are insulting her. Mishti says it’s a waste to talk to Jhanak. She taunts Jhanak for creating a problem on the first day of college. Aayush tells them to accept that Jhanak is a student like them. He says it’s wrong to insult each other. He tells Jhanak to take care and leaves from there.
On the other side, Indumati tells Aditi that they are planning a surprise for Tanushri. She says Tanushri went to the temple to pray for Mishti and Aditi. Neelu says Aditi is lucky to get a mother-in-law like Tanushri. And she indirectly taunts Putul that she did not get a good husband and a good daughter-in-law. Putul says Neelu is right. And few people don’t get a chance to live with a husband after getting a good husband too. Neelu asks what Putul wants to say. Putul asks if Neelu is staying there. Indumati tells Putul not to drag the matter. Putul says she is a burden for Indumati; that’s why the latter never supports her.
Neelu says Putul tries to create problems between Rishi and Aditi using Jhanak. Dadabhai comes there and tells Neelu that he brought Jhanak to the house. Neelu says Putul insults Aditi always. Putul asks Neelu to stop it.
Mishti comes there. Indumati asks why Mishti looks upset. Mishti says Jhanak is the problem. Aditi asks Mishti to ignore Jhanak. She says she will do something if Jhanak did anything against Mishti then. Dadabhai says he won’t stay silent if anything wrong happens with Jhanak then. He goes inside.
Meanwhile, Anjana asks Bablu whether he heard what happened in Jhanak’s college. Bablu nods at her. He says he could not believe Aniruddh did that against Jhanak. And he doesn’t know this new Aniruddh. Anjana says she is feeling bad for Jhanak. Bablu tells her that they will support Jhanak.
Aniruddh and Arshi hear all this. Bablu tells Aniruddh that the latter has been changed. Anjana agrees with Bablu. She asks Aniruddh how he can do wrong with his own daughter. Arshi asks them whether they want Aniruddh to stay as their slave. Aniruddh asks Bablu what is bothering the latter. Bablu says there’s no use in talking about it now. He goes inside. Anjana follows him. Arshi asks Aniruddh what if Jhanak proves he is her father. She says Jhanak can’t stay in Kolkata even if she is not Aniruddh’s daughter.

Precap: Mishti says sorry to Jhanak and gives a drink to the latter. Jhanak gets drunk and says her husband is Rishi. A student records this.
