The episode begins with Jhanak says she can’t speak English well, but she can write well. Tanushri tells Jhanak to bring snacks for Mishti’s friends. Putul says she will help Jhanak. Tanushri tells Putul that Jhanak can do this small work alone. Mishti’s friend asks whether Jhanak wants to become a doctor and why. She talks in English. She asks how Jhanak will manage in interviews because everyone will question in English.
Jhanak replies she knows a little bit of English, and others can understand it. Tanushri asks Jhanak to speak in English. She says Jhanak can’t speak English but is lying. Putul says they should not judge anyone’s knowledge with this. Jhanak asks what Mishti’s friend wants to know. Mishti’s friend asks Jhanak to speak in English and say five points why she wants to become a doctor. Jhanak speaks in English and explains why she wants to become a doctor. Rishi and Putul smile hearing this.
Rishi asks Mishti’s friends whether they got their answers. He says it’s not right to insult anyone. He tells them that they can’t even imagine Jhanak’s struggle. And education is equal for everyone. He scolds them for doing a personal attack on Jhanak. He advises them to learn to respect others. Jhanak gets happy hearing this.
The next day, Mishti asks Tanushri to bring her bag. Neelu asks where Mishti is going. Mishti tells Neelu that she is going to take notes from her friend. Neelu says Mishti can ask that from the phone too. And today’s weather is not fine. Mishti says she has to meet her friend. Neelu asks Tanushri to not allow Mishti to go out. She says tomorrow Mishti has an exam. Mishti asks Neelu not to scare Tanushri. She tells Tanushri that she will return safely. Tanushri tells Mishti to stay at home and study. She says Jhanak is studying from home only.
Mishti asks why Tanushri is comparing her with Jhanak. Tanushri says it’s not a comparison. And Jhanak doesn’t have any facilities like Mishti, but she still did well in the exam, so Mishti can study by staying at home. Dadabhai tells Tanushri not to pressure Mishti with this comparison. He asks Neelu to not stop Mishti. Mishti leaves from there. Dadabhai asks Tanushri about Indumati. Tanushri replies that Indumati went to the temple.
Dadabhai says he will make tea. Neelu tells him that Jhanak can make tea. Dadabhai tells her that Jhanak has an exam tomorrow, so don’t disturb her. Neelu says they have a maid, but still they have to do all the work. She calls Jhanak. Rishi asks Neelu to not call Jhanak. He tells her to calm down. Neelu says no one listens to her. And even Mishti went out. Tanushri tells Neelu that Mishti went out to take notes. And Mishti’s exam is difficult, so she needs extra notes.
Neelu says Rishi gave a difficult exam. She tells Tanushri that even her exam was difficult. Rishi tells Neelu to prepare for the exam again. Neelu asks Rishi not to taunt her just because she wanted Jhanak to make tea. She says even Tanushri taunted her. Dadabhai asks Neelu to not drag the matter. And he doesn’t want tea. Tanushri tells him she will make it and goes inside.
On the other side, Aditi wonders why Anjana said it like that. She asks herself why her parents will send her to Nutan for five years. She decides to not question her parents.
Later, Mishti returns home with notes. Tanushri says she will make hot chocolate for Mishti. Rishi tells Tanushri that he will make hot chocolate for Mishti. Aditi comes there. She asks Rishi whether he won’t do anything for Jhanak today. Rishi asks her what she is saying. Aditi tells him that he pampers Jhanak a lot. Rishi tells her that she promised to help Jhanak but is reacting like this now. He says he is tired of this discussion. He asks her whether she did not go to college.
Aditi reminds him that she took off today. Neelu says Rishi forgot Aditi’s off but remembers Jhanak’s exam day. Rishi asks Neelu to stop being obsessed with Jhanak. Aditi tells Rishi that she wants to talk to him. Rishi tells her that he will return after making hot chocolate for Mishti. He goes inside. Neelu tells Aditi to keep Rishi in control. Aditi thinks Rishi loves her and he won’t cheat on her.
Meanwhile, Jhanak studies for her exam. Rishi comes there. Jhanak asks him whether he took Aditi’s permission to come there. Rishi gives a box to her.

Recap: Rishi tells Jhanak to do whatever she wants with his gift. Aditi says Jhanak and Nutan are the kind of people who know how to break a family. Jhanak warns Aditi to not talk like that about Nutan. She says Nutan gave life to Aditi when her parents abandoned her.
