The episode begins with Jhanak asking why Dritimaan looks upset. Dritimaan asks her whether she was waiting for him. Jhanak replies she was studying while waiting for him. She asks whether Sanjhbati will come tomorrow. Dritimaan says his marriage won’t happen with Sanjhbati. Jhanak says if Sanjhbati’s mother is angry, then she will be calmed down. So he should not say that marriage won’t happen.
Rishi comes there and says he will bring Sanjhbati tomorrow. Dritimaan says Sanjhbati won’t go against her mother and Kaka for him. Rishi asks Dritimaan not to worry because he will talk to Sanjhbati. Dritimaan tells Rishi that there is no need for that. Rishi says Sanjhbati’s family has rights to get angry at Dritimaan. So he will bring Sanjhbati there tomorrow. Dritimaan says Sanjhbati won’t come tomorrow. And he knows she won’t change her decision. Jhanak says Dritimaan and Sanjhbati’s marriage should happen. And they will convince Sanjhbati. Rishi asks Dritimaan to rest today.
Meanwhile, Sanjhbati cries seeing Dritimaan’s photo. She asks him why he gave pain to her all these years. And her family saw how she suffered because of him; that’s why they are angry at him. She says she was living lifelessly all these years, which shattered her family. She tells him that her family protected her all these years, so she can’t marry him without their permission.
Jhanak says her heart says Dritimaan is a good person. Dritimaan tells her that she will achieve in her career one day. And he should not get weak because of accusations. Jhanak gets emotional hearing this. She tells them that she is glad they trust her. And she won’t disappoint them. She asks Dritimaan not to worry because Sanjhbati will return to him. She says none of the power can separate the true lovers. Rishi and Jhanak share an eye lock. Dritimaan notices this.
The next day, the police officer reaches Rishi’s house with her team. Dadabhai asks what the police are doing there. Rishi tells Dadabhai that Aniruddh and Arshi are the reason for this. Aniruddh and Arshi come there. Arshi says investigation will happen. Aditi says the jewel is an expensive one, so Arshi has the right to know the truth. And she knows Jhanak is not a thief, so she also wants to know who the culprit is. Rishi tells police officers to begin the investigation. Putul says this puzzle should be solved as soon as possible. Neelu tells Jhanak to cooperate with police because Jhanak went to Aditi’s room. Jhanak says she will answer for all the questions. Mishti gets scared seeing the police and tries to go inside. Rishi notices this and tells Mishti to come there.
On the other side, Sanjhbati’s mother asks Sanjhbati to sit for breakfast. Sanjhbati says she is not hungry. She asks whether she will be forced for this too. Kaka says he understands why Sanjhbati is irritated. Sanjhbati’s mother says she did not tell Sanjhbati to not meet Dritimaan. Kaka says Sanjhbati can marry Dritimaan if she wants. Sanjhbati tells them that she doesn’t want to talk about this matter. Sanjhbati’s mother says Dritimaan betrayed Sanjhbati. Sanjhbati tells her mother that Dritimaan did not betray her. And she doesn’t think Dritimaan did wrong. She asks them not to talk to Dritimaan if they don’t want to. Sanjhbati’s mother says this is what she deserves for protecting Sanjhbati all these years.
Sanjhbati says she also protected her mother in Kaka’s matter. Sanjhbati’s mother gets hurt hearing this. She says she did not expect this from Sanjhbati. Kaka says they did not want to marry. Sanjhbati tells them that they should have gotten married, because everyone thinks they are having an affair. And she is suffering because of that. She says they know she won’t marry Dritimaan without their permission. She tells them that she will support Dritimaan without marrying him.
The police officer says she wants fingerprints of everyone. Everyone gives their fingerprints. The police officer says she wants to see the CCTV footage. Rishi says a few CCTV cameras are not working. Mishti says CCTV cameras malfunctioned. Rishi asks her who said that to her. Mishti replies she doesn’t remember. Jhanak asks whether she can go now. Arshi tells Jhanak to stand there silently because an investigation is going on. The police officer says she will come with reports tomorrow. Rishi asks her to find the real culprit. The police officer promises to find out the truth and not punish the innocent. She takes the stolen jewel. Arshi asks the police officer to be careful because that’s an expensive jewel. The police officer assures her not to worry. She leaves from there. Rishi asks Jhanak why she looks scared. He says the culprit will get caught, so Jhanak need not get scared.
Sanjhbati tells her mother that the latter did not ask her permission about their relationship. Sanjhbati’s mother asks why Sanjhbati did not tell about this earlier. Sanjhbati says she was forced to say it now. She tells them that she won’t marry Dritimaan, but she will be his friend. Sanjhbati’s mother tells Sanjhbati to go to Dritimaan’s house and stay with him. Sanjhbati says she has the right to make decisions in her life. Kaka says he will support Sanjhbati if she wants to marry Dritimaan then. And he won’t force Sanjhbati’s mother for anything. Sanjhbati tells her mother that Dritimaan is a cancer survivor. And he doesn’t deserve to get treated like this. She asks her mother to not ask anything about her. She leaves from there.
Later, Aniruddh tells Arshi that Aditi is coming to talk about why Anjana did not attend the wedding anniversary of Dadabhai and Indumati. Arshi asks Aniruddh that what if Anjana tells the truth to Aditi. She says she wants to talk to Choton. And she wants him to withdraw the case.
