The episode starts with the dispute between Anirudha and Jhanak. They both start squabbling and criticize each other’s viewpoint. Shristi couldn’t understand what’s going on between them. Chhoton requests them stop their dispute, he also asks others to give the basic respect to this gir. Anirudhha brought Jhanak in Kolkata but he shouldn’t have any expectation that Jhanak will obey his every words. Vinayak also anticipates that Jhanak deserve the respect. Anirudhha becomes silent.
After a while, the sagai gets started and the elders bless the new bride with expensive jewellery, Shristi becomes amaze seeing the jewelleries which Arshi has got from Bose house. Shubha, Tanuja and Vipasha everyone gives jewelries to Arshi.
Appu is also asked to do blessing to Arshi but Appu knows that she will not get that much importance in this rirtual, and most importantly she doesn’t like Arshi, the new bride.
After the rituals of the engagement, Jhanak is asked to perform a dance by Shristi, but Jhanak doesn’t want showcase any of her skills in front others, but she jus insisted to dance in the engagement party. Jhanak starts her dancing with the song of man mohona. While she was dancing, but her leg cuts with a piece of glass but she doesn’t stop her dance. Anirudhha notices that Jhanak has been bleeding but he is asked to overlook everything about Jhanak. But Anirudhha couldn’t help but to get tensed.
After all the rituals, Jhanak is given a chance to bless the new bride. Making everyone surprised Jhanak gives a expensive diamond ring to Arshi a blessing gift. The gift shocks everyone. She is interrogated where did she get the gift. Jhanak explains that she has withdrawn all the money from the bank and bought this jewellery for Arshi. Jhanak requests her to accept this on behalf of Urvashi, Arshi accepts the diamond ring.
When the engagement photoshoot gets started, Anirudhha and Arshi give some romantic pose which doesn’t make feel good Jhanak. Her eyes ache but she couldn’t say anything to anyone. Chhoton understandd the true feelings of Jhanak. He assures oneday she will all the power to fight against this abuse.
